About 6 months ago I took my car into this location. It was pulling when I applied the brakes. I was told I need new brakes and front rotors. After the job was done, I noticed it still occasionally pulled and the brakes did not feel good at all. Took it back in to Chris (hes now gone) and he told me everything was fine. Two weeks ago my exhaust somehow broke free on one side. I took it in to the same store and the mechanic showed me where it had come loose and told me no problem top weld it back. When I returned to pick my car up I was told everything was fine, they had taken care of it. I noticed when I started it, it was much louder than usual. I am the only owner of this car. I know what it sounds like. Also, when I went over the speed bumps in my neighborhood now I was bottoming out. That had never happened before and my service engine soon light was on. I immediately called and spoke to Don. I told him what was happening. He ignored the bottoming out issue and told me to drive it a few days as the sensors needed time to reset after my exhaust leak. Sounded strange to me but I thought he knew what he was talking about. Three days later it was still hitting when I went over things and the service engine light was still on. Also, I had started having noises in the front end and it was pulling worse when I braked. I went back. They put it on the lift and Don tried to tell me that I had hit something that was why my exhaust had moved. I reminded him that I called ten minutes after I had originally picked my car up to tell him something was wrong. I did not hit anything. When I asked about the pulling I was told it was due to the fact that I needed new calipers. That would cause the pulling. I then told the mechanic that I recently had the brakes and rotors done for the pulling. He said they shouldve done calipers. He was surprised when I told him his location had done the work. He then changed the subject and said they could fix my exhaust. When the owner Carol gave me a ride back to work, she apologized and told me she knew that I had not hit anything and that "nobody likes to admit they had done something wrong", but they were going to fix it. A half hour later I called to remind them about the service engine light, and the sound when I started it. Carol told me her mechanic said that cars are always louder when the start cold. Then I was told my car was done. HUH?? Already??. My boss took me to pick it up. This time I was given a list of almost $1100 of things my car needed. Punishment for complaining I suspect as nothing was mentioned originally. I was also told by Carol that the mechanics noticed "some kind of green fluid toward the front of my car". A day later my service engine light is back on and my front end sounds like it is about to fall off. I wont be going back there ever for two main reasons. Trust is gone and if I complain again who knows how high the estimate will go. To all the people I had previously referred here, I apologize.

Reviews by Boss
It is unfortunate that I am writing this review. I had been taking my cars here for the past couple years. The owners always seemed nice and the location is very clean. I trusted in what they said I had to get done to my vehicles, so I have spent a decent penny at this shop. After awhile of getting the usual oil change, I noticed a change in employees every time I went back. After doing research online, I have found this can be a red flag. A few months back I had to have an alternator replaced, new battery, etc... 6 weeks later or so, what sounded to be a hole in the muffler, had me back in the shop. There was a slight gas leak at certain times that I had already been aware of for awhile, but had gotten worse, so I wanted to address that as well. This is an old vehicle from the northeast; I could see when looking under the car that it was completely rusted. Turns out it would be around $2,300 for parts and labor to take care of the muffler & leaking gas problem. When I asked Buster, their head tech, if these issues would have been noticeable at the time of the alternator replacement, he said most likely, yes. I would have not spent the $700 on the alternator if I knew that the car was in this bad of shape. Buster had only been there about a month, and the guy that did my alternator was terminated, so I never really got a clear answer. If this problem was obvious at the time, why wasnt I told? Im not sure, maybe it wasnt. Take my experience for what it is.

I took my truck there about 2 weeks ago for an oil change and everything was great! Great service, cheap price and quick.. could ask for much more for an oil change. I brought it back two days ago to get a diagnostic check because it started sputtering and smelling like fuel/sulfur. Again, I received great hospitality service and they provided me with a ride back to my job at no additional cost. They called me about an hour later and said my trucks problem was due to a failing fuel pump and a leak in a gasket and quoted me about $1800+ to fix. That is a little out of my budget, so i asked how much to just change out the fuel pump, they quoted me around $1000-$1100 saying that the fuel pump for my truck was about $400 + 4hrs of labor. That seemed high so I did some research and found fuel pumps online for under $100 (I have a 2001 Chevy S10 4.3L), when I called my local Autozone, the price was about $230-$250, Advanced Auto Parts were about the same price as well. I WAS UNABLE TO FIND FUEL PUMPS FOR OVER $250 for my truck (aside from performance parts). All in all, their hospitality is great and they provide great oil change services. However, their service for repair and parts are WAY to expensive. I will be back for oil changes, but thats about it.

Let me first start by saying the staff is friendly and helpful. But they dont pay attention to details, maybe they are too swamped so they rush to get your car in and out without making sure the repair you came for is actually complete. Had a simple oil change with a tire patch. The oil change was fine but they never patched the tire even though they said they did. I came to get the car and the tire was the same low PSI as it was when I dropped it off, they filled it and sure enough the next day the tire was low again. Plus during a previous repair there was a bolt left floating around in my engine bay. When I questioned them on this they said it must be an extra part. when I popped the hood to check it out for myself I found out that the bolt must have been used to fasten down my windshield wiper fluid container because now it is hanging loose. I really loved this location but they dont pay attention to detail, and now I cant trust them anymore. So now I must move on and find yet another mechanic.
