Very disappointed. I came in with a complaint of a front end noise in my Honda Odyssey and they said it was the ball joints and struts so they replaced them. The noise was still there when I picked it up so I went back and they kept it all day and then said they found nothing loose or out of place. So I am now out almost $1100 and Im back where I started. Had they driven the car first to verify the noise and found nothing they should have told me they didnt hear anything and just have me pick the car back up. Instead they decided to replace whatever they thought was "worn" and figured it would take care of things. Stay tuned . . . it gets worse. When I went to do the regular maintenance on it shortly thereafter I found that both spindle nuts had not been peened back on properly, that one of the rotor mounting screws was missing, that the right ball joint boot was torn, and that the castle nut on that side was missing the cotter pin. Good thing I caught all that when I did! They shot themselves in the foot as I had been bringing them company vehicles and friends cars. Wont be going back.

This place is great and I would recommend it to anyone. As a woman with little knowledge of vehicle mechanics, New Hope is the first mechanic shop I have ever felt comfortable in. I got a second opinion on pricing and New Hope actually had better prices. Hope even recommended a cheaper place to get tires in case I was looking for something more economical. I actually went to the place she recommended to make an appointment and I felt dirty as all eyes watched me walk by, and finally one guy hollared something innapropriate. I will pay a little extra money to avoid scummy places like that. I will continue to go to New Hope for all mechanical services needed.

Hope, the owner is just wonderful! I have been taking my car and our company truck to her since I moved to Clearwater. I initially started took my car to her based on reviews I read. As a woman, I am used to mechanics trying to put one over me. Hope is honest and her pricing is fair. I like that she tells you what needs immediate attention. It helps very much when youre on a budget.

Hope Peterson, Your business will continue to suffer based on who you have answering the phones. The person who currently answers your phone is completely rude, impatient and sadly I feel hates her job. I do NOT want to do business with anyone that treats its potential customers this way and I will not be recommending your business to my friends in Pinellas and Tampa.

I would say that they did the work (to a point).. labor was extremely high and they jacked up the price of parts too almost double . never again will I bring a truck to her again! I will follow up with Angies list with my displeasure. I gave it two stars but really needs only one. at best....
