I notice that Elite has many good reviews and I do not doubt that as technicians vary. However, not all techs are good. Read on: We had Tony of Elite come to assess why our air conditioner did not work. * He said we had a freon leak (we did not). He did not even try to locate the leak with a sniffer. Therefore he had no idea if the leak was the outside or inside unit, but quoted us a repair price for the inside regardless. * He said the unit was over five years old and so it was not covered under warranty. (Not true. It is 4.5 years old and is covered by (warranty). * He apparently never took off the panel on the outside unit or he would have discovered the dead snake screwing up the controls. (The actual cause of the problem) * He quoted us $2300 to replace the inside coil without even proving which coil was aledgedly leaking.($1300 is the going rate) * He told us the new coil would only develop leaks again so we should get a whole new unit to replace our 5 year old Trane. * He quoted us $ 5130 for a new unit. (going price is $3800). We got another firm to look at our unit. They removed the dead snake and got it working again. They charged us $85. If you want to spend $5100, call these guys. If you want to spend $85 call Sean at Advantage Air!

I had a good experience with them last time I used them and therefore I decided to use them again. All I wanted was to do a yearly tune-up to my unit. I had an appointment for Wednesday 7/5/17 and I received a call that no one could make it and they had to reschedule. I was not happy about it because I had been home waiting but ok I understand things happen plus it was the day after a holiday so maybe they were understaffed, so I rescheduled for Monday 7/10/17 2-5pm and at around 3:20pm I get another call telling me AGAIN no one could make it and they had to reschedule, I am now not very happy at all and I told them that was not acceptable because it was the 2nd time I had waited for them and they want to reschedule. The only answer I got was that (they could reschedule for 8am next morning and guarantee someone will show up) so in other words no respect for my time at all. So I dont know if they are under new owners or managers or what their problem is but I will no longer use or recommend this company, they should at the least offer a free or heavily discounted visit at my earliest convenience after rescheduling me twice. I have an older unit that will need replacement soon and now they have also lost the business for that as well.

I have used this company 3 times in the past because they are good at what they do. This time I called Elite because I was having a problem with my a/c disconnect box. They sent David and he showed up as scheduled. He looked at the box after I explained my problem and we noticed the contacts inside were worn and there were signs of arching, which explained why my compressor was shutting down intermittently. Turns out he did not have the same box and he showed me a smaller one which I did not want, so he got on the phone with a couple of suppliers and found an exact match for me, thus making me very satisfied. Needless to say that Dave was very professional, knew his stuff and did an excellent job!!! He even clamped the wires which were hanging before to the wall making the site look much neater!! Now that, I certainly appreciate and I highly recommend Dave and Elite Electrical for any of your electrical needs...thanks Dave and Elite Electric for another job well done!!!!!!

We have had Elite Electric & Air do electrical work in our condo on 3 separate occasions. The work performed each time was top notch. Bobby came and did work on 2 occasions and Joe did work on one occasion. Both men were very professional, very friendly and extremely personable. It was a real pleasure meeting them both. I will definitely be calling Elite for my future electric and air servicing needs. I would recommend them highly to my friends and relatives. Joe Genitempo came to service our circuit breaker box. (Two of the circuit breakers in the box had melted and needed immediate attention.) Elite Electric & Air sent Joe to take care of our problem on the same day that I called them. He fixed the problem in no time. Joe is very professional and highly competent and capable at his job. I have never been disappointed with the quality of work I receive from Elite Electric & Air. I recommend them highly.

Our A/C unit stopped working & as the temp inside went from 77 and climbed to 81 degrees, we needed immediate help! Within 30 minutes, Miguel arrived at 10:30PM to diagnose the issue. Miguel from Elite Electric & A/C was stellar! Our experience with him was tremendous. He was competent, articulate and empathetic with our plight. His technical expertise got us moving things forward. We cant say enough about this experience. Also, some other A/C contractors we called CLAIMED to be "open 24 hours", but we later discovered that they merely had answering services available--but NOT actual techs to dispatch for late evening! After calling four different vendors, Elite was the real deal with techs on staff 24/7 and very quick response time. Their rates are also very reasonable for the level of service and follow up they provide. We HIGHLY recommend them for any A/C issues you may have!

John McCormack was on time, knowledgeable, courteous and neat. He is a professional and you should reward him as a valuable and valued employee. 10/21/2016 Richard was on time, extremely knowledgeable and would have received 5 stars if he had supplies to replace the damaged insulation within the air handler. Unfortunately, that insulation found its way through the ducts and then into the house. Also, he did not replace the foam insulation around the tubing at the outside condenser. It had deteriorated and I replaced it myself. 2015 3/14/2016-David Cutler, Jr. 5 STARS David was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to correct deficiencies he found and provided advice relative to condition of the units and possible remedies and estimated costs. I would appreciate it if the company would send David on any future service call. .

The Elite Electric & Air installed a new Lennox A/C, Handler and Ducts in my home in Port St. Lucie. Mr. Dave Cutler was the Sales Rep/Manager for the purchase. Mr. Cutler was polite, answered all questions (several), noted all options, many constructive suggestions, took his time and did not try to pressure the sales in any manner. I would certainly consider Elite Electric & Air for future contracting/work. Ryan McCurdy and Wilmore Barton were the installers of the Lennox System and Ducts. Both were courteous and made clear explanations relevant to my questions. They took their time to do a good job and made sure all of the ducts worked properly and had a good "flow" of air. They did several little extras and had a good clean-up procedure. They did a great job.

John Mccormack, a technician from Elite Electric and Air came into my home today to do bi-annual servicing of my new A/C which you installed about 6 months ago. John was very pleasant, yet very professional. He was courteous enough to answer any questions I had for him and seemed to do what I felt was a very thorough check of the complete system. It was a pleasant service call and I felt completely at ease with his knowledge and expedience.
