I recommend Green Apple Painting if you need a painting contractor with high standards. Andy and his crew did an outstanding job in many ways. I searched "St. Augustine painters" at Google, and after reading the reviews about the company, I called him late morning on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend 2016. Andy called back and we set an estimate appointment the same day at 5pm. He was prompt, courteous and professional, and after listening to the work I needed, explained the procedures and gave me a very reasonable price, less than I expected. They started work the next morning, Memorial Day. They were again prompt and all of his crew were very courteous. We are selling our home on the island (ourselves without a realtor) that we built in 1990 and need it to look its best. We had the front porch steps replaced, a section of the wrap around porch railings, and the top caps of the railing on the upper deck. All exterior wood needed to be covered. With new wood and the original wood side by side in various places, I picked out 2 different colors of semi-transparent stains previous to meeting Andy and asked that they be applied to match. Andy said this was difficult to do because of the nature of stains and began to apply them at my direction. He was right and I was disappointed that they werent matching. Then he made a suggestion that changed my mind for the better; use a solid color stain throughout. The result was nothing less than spectacular! I never imagined the porch and the decks would look so bright and fresh! We are very, very pleased with the new look of our home and with the quality and detail of the work performed. Outstanding customer service is the key here. Other companies may have charged us for the few hours of labor for Andy and his crew applying the stain that I chose. Green Apple Painting didnt because Andy takes great pride in his work and wanted me to be another satisfied customer. The experience was so positive that I had them back to paint the garage, which turned out beautifully, and have scheduled them to return to paint the garage floor. The best technician in any field will have their great work overshadowed by poor customer service. Andy and his skilled staff at Green Apple Painting do great work at a great price with exemplary customer service. I believe youll be pleased also! Andy is a stand-up man that does excellent work at a reasonable price. I hired Green Apple to paint some areas of my house that I couldnt easily/comfortably access - above my kitchen cabinets and the wall that spans the height of my stairs from the first floor to the second floors ceiling. When I called Andy for a quote, he arrived at my house 30 minutes after my original phone call... hows that for speedy service!! The next day, Andy and a couple of guys on his crew came by and painted both locations in a few hours, ensuring to lay drop cloths in areas at risk of paint dripping. Once the guys from Green Apple left and the paint dried, one of the walls appeared to need an additional coat of paint. Andy offers a free touch up service call, so a quick phone call brought him back to my house in less than a week. During this touch-up appointment, Andy was very meticulous and ensured each area that I was concerned with had adequate coverage. Andy is a professional young man that takes pride in his work. He has taken a family business that originated in New York and extended it to St. Augustine. If youre looking for a good painter and want to support a [growing] family business, look no further. Green Apple Painting painted the interior of our townhome a few months ago. We had shopped around a little bit and we are so happy we chose Andy and his team! They were punctual every day, and did a beautiful job on our entire downstairs, and most of the upstairs, including the stairwell. They finished the entire job in less than three days and were meticulous in their work, cleaning up completely at the end of each day. Their professionalism and great sense of humor made it a pleasure to have them in our home. Plus, they followed up with us a couple of times afterwards to ensure that we were still pleased with the results. I highly recommend Green Apple Painting! Andy, Joshua and his painting crew are professional, courteous, prompt and efficient. We called Andy and he came to give us an estimate the same day. They started painting the next day. The crew were meticulous and eager to please. They were highly conscious of our property and kept all the areas clean and neat and when they finished the job they straightened the rooms and left our condo in excellent condition. The paint turned out beautifully and Andy offered any touch ups we might need for the next year or so. I must say I had the most wonderful experience with the Andy and Green Apple. I decided to paint the interior of my home one late night 11:45 PM’ish, so I looked up a few places online and decided to send in a request for quote. At 8:30 AM the next morning, I get a call from Andy saying he would be at my house in 2 hours to give me an estimate. He showed up at 10:30AM on the dot, gave me a quote and I gave him my business.
