I have been getting my nails done for years, and was so excited to find a location near my home that had a nice look to it; unfortunately the staff and service were atrocious! I love getting gel nails and designs done on my hands (makes my day brighter)... I went in to Zen expecting a tranquil experience; instead I had to ask my nail tech (name was "Steven") to file my nails down. He was very sloppy, rough and rude (didnt even acknowledge my "Hello, Steven" which should have been the first tell-tale sign). After having to pay attention to what he was doing, he rushed through (I was the only patron at the time). When it came time to putting on the gel he poured on globs of the stuff on my nails, and my nails looked like thick bricks. After which I asked for the designs and the woman who did them was very obnoxious and again sloppy leaving nail polish stains on my fingers. After she painted, he put on the clear polish and put my hand in the UV machine and due to him putting on the globs of gel, they ran, causing the tiny gem I asked them to put on along with the design to run, my nail looked like it was "MELTING". At which point, he took me out of the UV machine too soon, and when I washed my hands the shine from the gel came OFF!!!??? After I brought this to his attention, he became very upset with me, being very rude. During the whole time, I kept my tone low so as not to cause a commotion (as there were other patrons at the time). Now, I am versed in conflict mediation, so I do not raise my voice, and didnt once during this experience, b/c it was not worth it. Steven however, yelled to the manager/owner who pleaded I show him what was wrong with my nails. When I attempted to explain to him my nails looked like they were melting and sloppy and the shine had faded and the gems didnt look right he then raised his voice and told me to point out where. At this point, I got up from my chair and explained that I will not stay in a location where I am being treated in this manner. I told the manager I would rather pay and never come back. When I said this, the manager in a condescending tone told me that my nail art is not going to be perfect and if I showed him specifically where the nail was messed up (which I attempted to while he was yelling – note to persons who like to argue when there is yelling involved there is not comprehension of what is being said by the other party). I told him I understood artistic integrity but at this point being treated poorly, I just wanted to leave. I paid and left. It has since been a few days (4 in total) and I have taken off the gels, b/c I have been sooo embarrassed to show my hands. My friends know how I like to get my nails done in funky ways, but this experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth I don’t even know if I want to get them done anymore – sad… So please, beware b/c I feel its false advertisement to promote oneself as being able to provide a “Zen-like experience e when really they just stressed, frazzled and brought my once enlightened spirit down. NOTE: Had this not been important to me, because I feel all patrons of salons/spas should have a positive and relaxing experience – b/c I know I work hard for my money and mostly likely so do you, I would not have taken the 10 minutes to write this… Sincerely Yours, Disenchanted Funky Nail Girl

I was recommend this Salon. The ambience is great! However, I went for refills with two broken nails and was charged double the price. When I asked why so much I was told oh your nails are long and 2 were fixed. So I didnt want to make a fuss just wanted to find a decent Salon to continue to go to,but this will not be that Salon. My total was $60 for gel fills & pedicure. Further more as I look at my Nails the polish bubbled, the sides are not even polished I can still see my previous nail color! Signed very disappointed!! I would not recommend this Salon.

I went to Walmart nail spa. I was wearing acrylics from Walmart when I came here to get a refill. THEY SAVED MY NAILS. Amazing job. I got these done by Sam. Ive done my nails with another two people and they did a great job as well. GREAT PLACE. Theyre so kind too.

I have been coming here for two years. The staff our very friendly and funny. Everything I come I am very happy with the results. I do my hands, feet, lashes & eyebrows. Everything is at a reasonable price. Rose does the best lashes!

I went for a full set with nail design. This was a great experience. Very clean. Everyone was friendly. It was a relaxing experience. My nail still look great. Will go there again

Love Courtney!! Shes amazing. My nails stay on for more that a week without falling off or breaking and she is very neat with her application as far as an acrylic full set.
