Agree with other reviews that it is clean and well maintained. The second floor units are significantly warmer in the summer, but they do have some climate control. Get a first floor unit if temperature is a factor for you. My reason for disliking is purely based on economics. I just received my second rate increase in 18 months. The combined increase is 25% and there is no indication that they will stop these increases in the future. Im sure they realize that most clients will weigh the hassle factor vs. paying the higher rate and many will stay. In this case, Im going with the slight hassle. If youre thinking theyll negotiate to get you to stay, think again. It seems to be against their corporate policy. The concept of "retention" is lost on them.

The facility was cleanly kept and secure. I was dissappointed when I received a smaller unit then advertised and was not informed until after completing my paperwork. The outdoors dumpsters where locked and was difficult to throw away cardboard boxes over the fence while attempting to comply with the facilities rules was rather inconvinient. Overall it has not been the best experience of my storage rental life and I dont lay the blame on the onsight staff as I assume these are corporate policies and the advertising of the storage unit I reserved was provide through the website and therefore it should have been explained there. I give it an average rating but I was left feeling a little short changed.

This place is one of the best storage facilities in the area. It is well managed and maintained. Jack and his team are super nice and courteous. He explains things clearly and is happy to answer questions. I felt like my things were protected with the security and cleanliness. I had items in here for almost 2 years and they still looked spanking new. People actually complimented how nice my storage place is! It is never crowded, plenty of parking, and easy 5 minute to the airport. Perfect to keep things especially if you live in another state.

I think maybe Russ has the wrong location. Ive been to this facility and hes right, its very clean and well maintained. The unit size is always approximate at any self storage place, but this facility doesnt have a fence anywhere to throw boxes over. Also, Ive been there many times in the last 6 months, and Ive never found the dumpster to be locked, either. Maybe he is thinking of one of the other storage places in the area.

Jack Pooley and Eddie Pozo have been professional, extremely helpful, courteous, friendly, and prompt. The storage area is very clean. Service is superb! We have been rental customers for the last three years without a hitch of trouble from anyone including other customers. I just wanted to write in to say how wonderful Jack from the Cypress St. location in Tampa is. He goes above and beyond to help his customers. We needed a bigger unit and I had called to see if he had one available. He did not, but he called other locations until he found the one I wanted and put it on hold it for us since they only had 1 left. He has been wonderful!! Thank you for the good experience!

We were heading to Tampa with a Penske truck to this location. The drive took longer than expected, and Jack went above and beyond to find a location near us to do the paperwork so we could get our units before they closed. The property is well maintained and clean. I cannot say enough about the awesome, friendly service I received! Thanks again Jack!!!!

Extra space is wonderful I have 6 storage units for work and I have been customer for over 5 years. Jack Pooley and his team are wonderful, very professional, helpful, and they help me out with scheduled deliveries. Im always aware what is going in my unit. I feel safe knowing its a secure building with a gate code. I like the fact that there are security

I had been storing a number of items in a much more costly facility that was also quite a distance from my home. Finding Extra Space so conveniently located near to me, at such an affordable rate, was a true godsend. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and the facility is spotless and well-lit. Thank you, Extra Space...you are my "spare room!"

I used this storage unit from the beginning of May to the end of August to keep some of my larger items that I could not bring home to New York for summer break. It is VERY clean, great prices, and very simple from beginning to end. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I, of course, will be using them again when May rolls around again.

We have rented office space, at times a parking spot and a storage unit here over the last 2 years. This place is very clean and well maintained, and the staff is just great. They are very helpful and friendly, but also extremely professional. If you need a clean, secure place to store your stuff, this is the place!

ill keep this short and sweet. ESS on cypress ave. is always CLEAN, QUIET & SAFE. On site manager LARRY is very nice and helpful. He will make you feel at home once you enter the establishment. Without a doubt the safest feeling storage facility i have ever used. Dont sleep on this place.

Management and staff are great people to deal with, they are very accomodating, property is safe and well located. Air conditioned portion of it need better cooling. It is a little too warm for my taste and experience on other storage units Ive rented from other vompetitors.
