How do I begin to describe my experience with Ace Storage? I was originally looking for storage in Weaverville. Ace Storage Weaverville location was full, but they had units available at their Asheville branch. I called Jose, he took my info and waited my arrival. I was moving from Johns Island SC to Weaverville. On the day of my move, I called Jose and gave him a rough eta. I was traveling with a tarp covered trailer...and was running at least 4 hours behind schedule. Jose contacted me to ensure I was safe and traveling well. Told him of the situation and he said to take my time and just call him when I got close and he will meet me at the branch. Upon arriving, this young chap with a full greying beard hops out of his van and comes up to greet me. Introduces himself as Jose. Jose is a funny man who has a great appreciation for beer and conversation. He had spent the day cleaning out my unit to make sure it was ready and fit for use. He helped me unhitch my trailer and laughed at my girlish folly. Before leaving he oiled the doors to my unit and told me where I could find great avocados from Peru at a bargain price. He also told me which banks in the area were small and local. I came back the next day to finish unloading my trailer. Joses presence put me at ease and I feel safe knowing Im renting a unit from Ace Storage. I would highly recommend their services!

nice place nice people 45$ - a month for a small unit. packs big cuz its tall, fit everything i didnt need for this move. when there was a payment error they didnt mind and fixed it right away (autopay). they have big units too. its a funny place in the back back of an industrial hwy, but im not living there im storing what i dont need. private enough. small 1-2 -man operation, so its not a big business and they are down to earth. thanks jose for the inspiring talk too!

Ive used the location in Weaverville since the summer of 2007. A climate controlled unit, inside. Excellent, very clean space. Great to be out of the elements when Ive needed to access it in less than the best weather conditions. The best thing is, in this time of very lacking, farmed out customer service, youre treated like a fellow human being and friend. Not an inconvenience. The way were supposed to do business! Cant recommend them highly enough!

Of all the storage units in the Asheville and surrounding areas, I lucked up when finding Ace Storage! The owner, Jose, is such a wonderful man to work with. He went above and beyond what most owners would do for a customer. Their prices are great and the facility is well taken care of. As a new resident to the area, as long as I need storage space, Ace Storage is my place. Recommend them highly.

Best storage units in the Asheville and Weaverville area! Highly recommend if you are lucky enough to find a free spot! The owner, Jose, is very nice and consistent in following up with you customer service wise, which is hard to find around here. The units are very nice and clean and temperature controlled. This place is awesome. The owner is one of the coolest people ever! Genuinely great guy who makes you laugh and takes care of his customers. The rates are great, and even the other people who rent units there seem to be cool as well. I would DEFINITELY recommend!

Back in August, on the way down from IN our rental truck had a flat. We needed to unload because the next day we needed to return the truck. Ace manager met us late that night and was very helpful. Facilities were good and located close to Patton Ave. Thank you!

September 2016: Not a good neighbor. Allows garage bands on premises. Great disturbances to neighbors. Update in April 2017. Even though the company says it has stopped renting to the bands, they *ALLOW* the bands to keep practicing after business hours.

I really appreciated the service I received from Ace Storage. My storage unit was always accessible and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. If I am ever in need of a storage unit again I will definitely be calling Ace Storage.

Beware!! Less than 2 weeks went by and I received a call to tell me that my unit had been broke into. No security cameras and no insurance put your stuff here at your own risk! Stay away from this place.
