I had an appointment with Anthony yesterday at 10:30 A.M, when I arrived at the barber he wasnt even at his chair because he had arrived late to work. So as I sat and wait one of the other barbers asked me if I had an appointment, I said yes with Anthony at 10:30 A.M, they notified him in the back and he didnt come to his spot until a few minutes later. When he arrived to his chair at my scheduled appointment time I was disappointed because he let someone else jump in front of me, regardless if this person had an appointment before me you can not just go ahead and jump my appointment time for another customer and expect me to wait through my scheduled appointment time. I was upset and very disappointed and in a rush so I asked if there was any other barbers and after I had got my haircut it looked terrible and well not worth 16$. I went to a completely different barber shop and they asked me who the hell cut my hair and kindly fixed up my edge and fade. When it comes to customer service and consideration you cant rely on these guys, this is just one of the few times I went there and was very unpleased with there service. I believe it is important to let other people know how they can treat customers regardless of the issue just so everyone can know before they do an appointment or walk in. I will not refer this place to anyone cause they are a joke.

Im one of those clients who are extremely loyal. Unless I move my average time with the same barber is 5 years. So I just moved to Tampa and got referred to this barbershop and was told to try Victor Brown. I hadnt had a hair cut in 3 months since my barber touched it and moved. So I go to the barbershop and they had a appointment. I selected a time and when I reached, it hit my appointment time right when Vic was finishing and got called up next. I showed him the picture of my last cut and how I wanted my fohawk to look and beard to look. My first cut took 45min and Vic kept referring back to the picture and asking question and cutting and examining to make it perfect. When I put my glasses on and check out my haircut I was shocked at how good it looked and the attention to detail. Vic doesnt know it yet but hes going to be cutting my hair for years to come.

I was at the New Tampa location today in early afternoon. When I came in a big guy on first chair ask me if I had an appointment in a loud tone of voice. The music was so loud you couldnt here me telling the barber what I wanted, i understand Spanish and my son. The song they were playing had a lot of bad words in it and double meaning to it, my 10 year old son look at me funny. I dont know how you can allow this type of music in a place that kids and family go to, specially when you can even explain to the barbers what type of cut you want because the music was so loud. I felt I was in 1900s hood club. I will never go back with my son there again. Horrible experience, came out of there with a headache.

I moved to Wesley Chapel from Atlanta. Ive been here less than a month and stumbled across Headlines Barber Shop. I hit the jackpot with Victor Brown. Although I showed up the first time late in the evening without an appointment, Victor offered to cut my hair if I was willing to wait. He is a professional and the quality of his cuts are outstanding. Hes very detailed oriented and it shows in his haircuts. Im very happy with the service and would recommend Victor to anyone. The atmosphere in the shop makes the experience even better. The place is very busy and professional. Its truly a welcoming environment and adds to the the great service Victor provides.

I take my son to Headlines Barber Shop and its a really nice shop. My sons barber is Victor and he is absolutely amazing and very talented. Victor used to cut my sons hair at another shop and when I found out he was at Headlines, I started taking my son there. Ive been taking my son to Victor over 2 years and since I have lived in Tampa (since 2011), Victor is the only one that I can truly say does an awesome job each and every time I take my son to see him. I am so glad to have found someone that takes the time to make sure my son walks out looking fresh after his cut!

Definitely the best barber shop Ive ever been to. After another barber shop severely messed up my hair, I discovered this one and read the reviews and booked an appointment with Favian. He was great with cutting my hair with only a picture and no instruction, and even helped me when trying to find a good hair product I need. Favian will definitely be cutting my hair from now on and the place itself was very clean and taken care of. TL;DR - Book your appointment with Favian and come here, 5 stars.

Headlines is a great place to get an epic cut! These guys are awesome and can do anything, yet there is one who stands out from the group and thats Alfredo. Ive been going to Headlines for over a year now, and have been loyal to Alfredo not just because hes skilled technically, but because I can walk in with nothing more than an idea and a vague style in mind and walk out with something better than I imagined, a cut and style that makes even a manic Monday an awesome day! All thanks to Alfredo.

The innovation of this barbershop using a mobile app to allow clients to set appointments reduces the agony and inefficiency of showing up and having to wait (sometimes up to an hour) like you would commonly experience at traditional shops. They also do a fantastic job at addressing each customer that walks through the door, ensuring no one is left unnoticed and subsequently unattended to. Abi is always punctual and does a great job with my haircuts.

I recently moved to Tampa from NYC and was desperately looking for a barber. I came across Headlines via the internet , and made an Appt with Jorge. From the moment I walked in I felt at home, felt like I was back in NYC. Long story short I sat in the chair and Jorge hooked me up, I use him every week and he never fails me!!! I have been going to the new tampa location for over a year. I always get my cuts from Jorge. By far he is one the best barbers in the area. He also conversates with this client and make them feel comfortable. I took my 3 yr old son for his cut, i must give him credit for working smoothly and calmly with my son. Due to his skills as a father and being friendly with my son.my son did not fuss or cry, but sit there calmly to get his haircut.
