This past Saturday 8/17/13, I was visiting the area with my 16 months old granddaughter and my mother and we were caught on a very bad storm and John the Barber was very nice to open his doors not only to me but to other parents with children so we can shelter from the rain. He went beyond that by allowing the children to play with the toys and coloring books he has in his shop for his customers. He is not only a great barber as many of you have commented on the reviews, but a person with a great heart. I wish there were more people like him in this world. Best of luck!

I had a great barber in Oldsmar. When I moved to Tarpon Springs I wanted to find someone local to support. I kissed a lot of frogs, so to speak, without finding the right barber. One day I walked into John The Barber....and there was my old barber, Steve! Steve gives a great haircut, but is also a great guy. If you are in town and need a cut, I highly recommend this as your go to place. Great cuts, conversations, prices & people. 5 Stars Indeed!

First time into an traditional barber shop and I was not disappointed. I was in the chair inside of 5 minutes and got a fantastic cut with old school feel and good conversation. Great atmosphere. Kyle did a great job and I will be coming back for more.

A genuine Master Barber! I think hes been cutting hair longer than Ibe been alive. I tell all my friends and never been disappointed; by the cut or the pleasent experience. My little ones even play. What a jewel!

Went the whole nine yards and had them take me from longlong hair to fully bald. Guys were great, friendly, quick, and did a great job. Comfortable place, felt homey, and I dont usually feel at home anywhere.

The man is the real deal! Go to his shop, wait your turn and step right up to a real mans haircut. You wont be disappointed. Easily, the best flattop in the area. He truly is a Master Barber!!!!
