Terrible, I asked the price he gave a FLAT RATE (a charge that is the same in all cases, not varying in proportion with something). I informed him I was using my debit card, he said ok fee is still $65 flat rate. One of his guys came out, unlock my car, then said the cost was $75. I immediately went what. He said because I used a card and he charges a service charge. I got upset, called Smiley who said there is tax, I said what? You said FLAT RATE and this guy wants to charge $75. They talked he told to the guy to charge me tax only and I should realize that there is tax on everything. I to.d him not true, not when its a flat rate....especially when I specifically ask what the cost would be and he said $65. I would not recommend him, Im call the Better Business Bureau and report him. Charging the tax afterwards when it was stated flat rate was misleading. Put the definition of flat rate in my post to help him understand that when you say flat rate, the price does not change. Next time he should tell them the cost and inform them there will be tax and or surcharge so a person stranded will no to have exact amount before they help you. Or tell them Flat Rate, plus tax.

Great showroom and service, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I went to get a spare key copy to my 2011 Nissan Quest (I must admit I was very sceptical because first I called the dealer and they told me no locksmith can program these smart keys) it took no more than 15 minutes and I had a working and original spare key and the cost was about $125 less than what the dealer quoted me. While waiting Allen offered me coffee and brought me a chair while I was waiting... just great experience , if I ever need a locksmith again they are the only ones I would gladly use again.

We flew into Fort Lauderdale to pick up a car from Manhiem. Upon our arrival the key to a new car was no where to be found. Manhiem had no idea where it could be or even really what to do. We called smiley and they had it handle within minutes. At a time when I was extremely frustrated they made everything simple. We didnt even have to be present for him to come fix it. The locksmith contacted us when he was on his way and even sent us pictures that the job was completed. All in all Im very pleased and happy with everything! YOU SAVED US!

The key they made for me has broken 3 times within a year. I went back today to get a 3rd replacement after paying half price $40 for the last 2 times I felt it was only right for them to replace it free but they refused and the police had to be called even after the police agreed that would be the right thing to do they still refused. From the first time I should have known they were crooks because he begged me to rate and post a good comment! Now look at this mess!

Went here to get remotes and chip key programmed for my Toyota van. They knew exactly what to do, did it quickly, and did it right the first time. Wow!! Extremely surprised at the level of service that was provided tonight! I lost my only car and called for their assistance. I was told they would be in my home in 20 minutes and to my surprise they got there in 15 minutes!! Very professional, courteous and fast. In less than 20 minutes they gave me a brand new key. Had a great experience at this store. I ordered an uncut unprogrammed key from ebay. I was warned that cheap keys from the Internet tend to be difficult to cut because of the metal. But they were able to cut it and program it within 20 minutes. Probably less. I used the same key to drive my 2011 Camry home. The dealership wanted to charge me $300. I saved $200. Thank you guys.

I had a great experience working with Smiley locksmith. I had a very difficult safe that needed to be opened. Other locksmiths either did not know how to open it or charged way to much. Smiley is very professional and their prices are great. I would highly recommend you put their number in your phone if you ever get locked out. They will come out right away!

Requested a quote for a new 2013 Mini Cooper Key fob, and metal key on a Sunday through Yelp. They responded super fast within minutes a quote of $200 plus $12 sales tax. On the following day Monday, they were able to get the job done within a half-hour. The dealer quoted me $367, and Im not sure that included the metal key too. Saved a lot, thnx Nir!

This was a bait and switch. Low price is advertised but once you have a problem price quadrupled. They are less than 2 miles from my location. Your not getting my business oh by the way I deal with a lot of local residents who need your services. I will make sure they are given choices of fair companies with integrity

Max came and did my mercury.....my car gave him constant problems and he didnt give up...poured rain the entire time and never gave an attitude or slacked off....the best locksmith in broward! Decent price! If you choose any one over smiley your crazy!

How can you call for service, questions the value and do not want it to. And by opening the door of a car they want to charge $ 140. If you do not charge $ 25 for going to the place. really are swindlers and also disrespectful.
