My daughter kept getting ear infections while there and all the other children had green snot running from their noses. She caught a fever and I was never called about it nor did the teachers notice. The head director/ dodah, repedeately screams at the kids. One time i witnessed a teacher yelling at a child to eat her cereal faster. Later the teacher realized she had thrown up in it and was eating her own vomit because she kept getting yelled at to dinish her food. I was in shock and did nothing at the time, so Im warning you all now. One time I came around 6pm to pick up my baby and saw the two year olds outside during a freezing winter day, most without coats and some without shoes. One time I came to pick up my daughter, who was a year old at the time and knew how to walk, and she was strapped into a stationary baby seat. Like a swing/walker. And she looked like she had been sitting there for a long time. Another time I noticed a huge puddle on the floor and caught a one year old as he slipped right before his head hit the floor. This entire establishment is awful.

The outside of the building and the area around it dont look like much, but dont let that fool you. Genesis is fantastic. The Dodahs (the employees are called by a word that means Auntie so the kids dont get in the habit of using first names for adults, or calling anyone else mom or dad) are almost all long-term with low turnover, and are from all over the world. I love that that exposes my son to accents and languages and foods... speaking of which, the food is all vegan! No microwaved chicken nuggets here! My son eats grilled vegetables, curries, and a variety of other good, healthy food. I cant speak well enough about Genesis.

The experience that my child gets at genesis is like no other. They eat "home made" vegan breakfast and lunch. Excellent teaching staff and learning environment.
