Let me first Start off by saying I always support black own business, but this is way many people of color businesses shut down. When I first started bringing my son here I rarely saw Ms Cooper, Ive always had contact with her daughter. She is very sweet and sincere. But Ms Cooper on the other hand is something else. She presents her self as this loving director who enjoys her job. But her aura is different Ive watched her play favorites with the children and the staff. Its a family owned business but she seems to only hire people she "thinks" are a good fit instead of people with credentials. When she walks in the building or comes out of her office the children and the staff are on eggshells. My daughter also came to the daycare for after school care. She would tell me how how hot it is and how her after school teacher is always alone with 16 + kids or how she will give the kids up stairs a certain snack and give the after school kids apples and water. I remember myself when the young lady had to come upstairs to talk to me about my childs behavior and Ms Cooper looked at her with a death stare because she was telling me about what my child did and she sorta pushed the young lady back down the steps. Ive been downstairs to get my kids. My son was in the class room in the back but the heat of the beginning summer months knocked me out. That heat is unbearable. The last straw is when I asked to have a conversation with ms Cooper about another child biting my son and what will done about it she basically said kids will be kids. I dont recommend anyone bringing their child here. Mrs Vivan the Prek teacher whom I thought was my sons teacher said to me she didnt even know what she was doing... Its truly sad.

HI Im John griffin. Im current a college student at le cordon bleu. My reason for contacting you is because I was employed at Early journey Child Development Center and I chose to resign what I thought was my perfect job on Jan 29. Because of unprofessional behavior from the owner ms cooper towards me and other employees. And since I have resigned I have yet to receive my last pay check, and that has caused much inconvenience to me with my bills and it affected me making money through my second job which is uber not only for gas but because I couldnt pay my phone bill. I have contacted ms cooper several times and she keep telling me she put it in the mail and if she has to re issue my check that she would deduct how much the bank charges her to cancel the check out of my wages earned. I really need help to have her exposed maybe then she will do what is right. Thanks in advance JOHN GRIFFIN

This facility is in the hood. The staff is hood the director is hood. They are all 100% Unprofessional and they lack a since of customer service for the community that they serve and to the families..... Bright form the start child day care licensencing division needs to remove their licence to operate as soon as possible.... If you want quality child care for your children please take your kids else ware.... Please !!!!!

Ive honestly never had a problem, not because Im a teacher here but my daughter, niece and my nephew went here before I work here... and they did damn good job teaching them so I disagree with you guys reviews
