We started out taking our son to The Chastain School (thats a whole other review) and began looking for a new school when he was around 1 year of age. I came across The Legacy Centre buried in a review of local preschools on City Search, and although the reviews were great, there was not much information to be found online. We decided to take a tour and were blown away. The teachers, almost all of which have bachelors degrees or higher, were amazing. Our earlier experience with preschools/daycares led us to believe we were basically paying for a high priced baby-sitting service, but The Legacy Centre was a true school. All of the kids were actively involved in learning activities; the teachers are educated and engaged; the owner is interested in providing a great learning environment for the kids and taking care of her staff at the same time (I understand they get a paid trip anywhere they want after five years employment). Needless to say, we moved our son as soon as he turned 18 months and have never looked back. Most days when we go to pick him up he doesnt want to leave! The only downside I see is they do not take children under 18 months. We plan to have a second child and originally planned to move our son and the new one to another school when the time comes - we have since changed plans. The Legacy Centre is too good and our son loves it too much for us to pull him out. Instead of switching him for the convenience factor of having both kids in the same place, we will do two drop-offs and pick-ups when the time comes. Its really that good. If you are looking for a new place where your child is provided exceptional care, I highly recommend a tour of The Legacy Centre. You will not be disappointed.

TLC is a phenomenal preschool! I have experienced several preschools, and this one tops them all. The children are happy and engaged while they learn. The teachers have years of experience and share the same passion of education. When you walk inside the school, you can tell there is a lot of learning happening. Children are learning through movement, art, music, dance, games, toys, and books. The classrooms are always changing and ever-busy. The teachers also collaborate and receive excellent support from the owner and director, which enhances instruction every day. TLC also recognizes nutrition, and has an in-house chef who prepares healthy meals using organic ingredients. Dont be fooled by other fancy-looking preschools! A lot of these places look good from the outside, but its hard to know what is actually going on inside. I have had a lot of inside experience and I am appalled most of the time, especially from the most advertised and prestigious schools. Many of the teachers are undereducated and underpaid. The curriculum is often lacking and lesson plans are not usually followed. Many owners and directors have very little experience in the field of education, and hold their priorities in money rather than your childs development. Additionally, a lot of preschools order their meals from a provider which only costs them one to two dollars a day per child. Do you want your child to eat a dollar-menu every day? Be careful when choosing the right preschool, because behaviors we learn at the earliest years of life stay with us until adulthood. TLC ensures quality care, instruction, and nutrition, so that your child is happy, healthy, and learning.

Are you looking for a place for your child(ern) to be nurtured? Where the entire staff is attentive and caring? Well, The Legacy Center Preschool is absolutely the place. I have nothing but positive things to say about this school. I have had three children there at once and the experience has been amazing. They are committed to fostering the educational and social development of every child. The well thought out care plans for every age ceases to amaze me. Kudos to the hard working staff at TLC and of course the driving force, the owner who not only runs the business but is committed to serving every child. I do not work for TLC nor am I a paid spokes person ( however I wish I was lol). I hope this review helps other families who are looking :)

TLC is the most loving, clean, delightful preschool Ive ever encountered. Our son attended TLC from 18 months until he started Kindergarten, and now my daughter is doing the same. The teachers and staff know every child intimately, and their love for their students and enthusiasm for teaching is genuine and constant. Everyone who works here seems to really love their job, and the kids really love going to school! Their curriculum is also excellent -- my child is very well prepared for kindergarten, both academically and socially because of the emphasis TLC puts on emotional intelligence in addition to things like letters and numbers. I highly recommend TLC to anyone looking for quality, loving care for their children.

We just finished up 4 truly wonderful years at The Legacy Centre. To say that we loved this school, would be an understatement. The teachers, the staff, the curriculum, the organic food....I could go on and on. My girls adore everything about this school and we will miss them so very much. Thanks to TLC, my 6 year old excelled in Kindergarten and my 4 1/2 year old is beyond where she needs to be for Pre-K. Thank you for loving my children just as much as we do!

We had an excellent experience at TLC School. My son is a special needs child and the TLC staff went above and beyond what was required due to his needs. He was excited every morning to go to TLC and always had a smile on his face when I picked him up. I would love him to stay an additional year, however he has to go to Pre-K and we are going to miss everything about the school, specially the great teachers and staff that became family to us.

My daughter screams "Were home" As soon as we arrive. Ive watched her grow and surprise me every day with her knowledge. We love TlC. The staff loves what they do and are invested in each and every child. They practice inclusion which is such an important part of teaching children to appreciate everyones differences and uniqueness.

Our daughter will be finishing her 3 year 9 months experience with TLC soon. We absolutely love their quality staff, the fun curriculum and the healthy food they serve. About half of her classmates have been in the same class with her since they were 18 months! This is the school you know your kid will be in good hands.

This is a very special place. Our son has an amazing time here. He used to be afraid to get out of the car in the morning to go to preschool, now here at TLC as soon as I pull in the parking lot he is ready to run inside. :-)
