Terrible! My father discovered a flooded basement from the water heater overflowing on a Friday evening at 6. This company was rated highly in the county service guide, and upon calling them they said they would be able to have a plumber arrive within the night. Someone was supposed to call to let him know when the plumber would arrive; yet nobody did. I was in the process of frantically calling another company when he finally rang the doorbell. He showed up around 8 PM and when I stated that someone was supposed to call, he said he saw a note stating that we were notified he was on the way. He turned the water on, but told my father it would be cheaper by $150 if he waited until the following morning since he could get one of their units instead of paying the $150 extra to buy one from Home Dept. My father opted for that, knowing he would be without hot water for the night, and the man said he would be back at 9 AM. He never showed up. My father returned a call from the company at 3 PM after receiving a call from them that he would have to schedule an appointment for the plumber to return. They claimed to have called and texted all morning, but in my looking at his phone, there were no texts, and he returned that call and the previous call they made that day. (Earlier that morning they called to let him know the plumber would arrive, but he would be late due to an emergency job.) The second time he returned their call, they told him the plumber was not supposed to have obligated himself to arrive at 9 AM because THEY have to schedule the appointments themselves, a fact they failed to mention when he spoke with them previously in the day when they assured him the plumber would eventually get to his issue. So he wasted a whole day thinking this guy would show up. Then they told him he would have to pay the extra $150 for them to purchase the water heater from Home Dept to have it installed since it was too late to get one they supplied for cheaper. If he had known he was having to pay the $150 anyway, he could have just had it replaced and over as soon as the flooding took place the previous night when the plumber was there! He told them he was no longer interested in working with them, and after hanging up with them, they proceeded to continuously call him back repeatedly! He wound up calling another company that was upfront with their pricing, and even told him that for his county that there was a mandatory permit fee and that he needed a holding tank as well. This was a fact that RS Andrews failed to disclose in their pricing, and the woman from the other company he spoke with mentioned that many companies fail to disclose this information and instead later tag on these fees, which is what would have happened had he gone with RS Andrews. Plus, he found that RS Andrews charged him $100 more than what they would have charged for response to the emergency call the previous night. Please think twice about working with this company. They overcharged him, lied to him, failed to disclose mandatory fees in pricing, and harassed him when he decided not to do business with them any further.

Wow, is all I can say. I shopped many different brands and companies and I choose RS Andrews and am glad I did. My first exposure with RS Andrews was when Chris came to my home to give me an estimate on replacing two 3 ton units. He inspected my 18 year old system took measurements, looked at things that were not up to code and told me they do indeed pull a county permit before work begins. The other companies were not this thorough. Chris and I then spoke for quite a while, he was patient and very knowledgeable. I was impressed by his honesty and experience. He asked me questions as well and actually listened. This conversation was crucial in my decision. We discussed why Lennox was a good choice and we both agreed that the quality and installation was key, the key, to any system working to its maximum potential. We discussed all the continuing education that RD Andrews sends all their technicians to and why they invest so heavily in their people. I compared 3 quotes and choose RS Andrews. I did request that, if possible, Chris would come and check the installation during the install. RS Andrews allowed him to do so and he showed up with lunch for the crew. Mike, Gasper, Manuel and Mousa did the install. They removed the old units and furnaces, and installed the new system up to code. They were the best, efficient, and worked very well as a team. They handled any issue that came up expertly, and I was not charged anything additional. Bottom line they did a quality install. I was so impressed, I contacted Andrew, their Boss to express my thanks. This is certainly not RS Andrews biggest job, but I was treated as if I was their best customer. I am very glad I choose RS Andrews and they are returning to preform a duct cleaning this Friday. Bottom line, I had done allot of research on the internet trying to choose a brand, and it was confusing at best. For every great review, there was at least one negative review. I decided Lennox was one of the top 3 brands, but more importantly the installers were the most important part of the process. This represented allot of money to me and my family, and was no small decision. In addition I prepaid for the mantience agreement for 7 years. RS Andrews worked with me on the price and helped me apply for 1,800 dollars in rebates. There price was fair and the work was top notch. So, Thank you to RS Andrews and the great team that installed my systems. I am very pleased :)

Ive had a service agreement with RSA ever since we bought this house 4 years ago, and I have never had a problem with their timeliness or their work. When our furnace stopped working on a frigid Sunday afternoon 2 weeks ago, RSA told me theyd have a technician there within the hour, and they did. On a Sunday! They discovered that the main heat exchanger in our furnace actually had holes that had burned in it over the years, creating a dangerous situation. One of the managers, Andrew, personally took most of the furnace apart until he discovered the problem and showed me the three places where the heat had burned through the metal. We ended up having to replace the furnace, which RSA did at a more than fair price including installation. BTW, the installers showed up 10 minutes before the appointed time. Andrew called today to tell me he took our old furnace completely apart in the workshop in order to clearly expose where the corrosion and danger lay. He said, "I wanted you to know that when we have our next technicians training session this Friday, Ill be using your old furnace to make sure our techs know what to look for to make this very difficult diagnosis." Well done. You couldnt tear me away from R.S. Andrews!

RIP OFF- had a leak in the coil pan. Andrews Technician said it couldnt be fixed and therefore had to buy a new A coil with a good metal collection pan. (This pan collects the condensation from the cooling coils and then allows for the condensate pipe to pipe the condensation out of the attic.) It was leaking. Then the Andrews guy says because the freon used is R22 the CPA says we have to replace then entire system including the outside Condenser with a system that is more updated and allowed by EPA. He says the cost should be approximately $3,700. I was dubious paid him his $99 service call and got another company out there. That guy put a metal patch on the pan in about 5 minutes and charged me $100. System now runs fine and cools the house very efficiently. should get several more years out of the system. What crap. What a rip off. Make sure you get a second opinion on these guys RS ANDREWS before you spend any serious money. BTW I could have replaced the entire system for a lot less than $3,700 but Ill gladly take the pan patch for $100.
