I genuinely appreciate being able to make donations and take care not to donate junk. I drive over to make a donation today and waited over five minutes at the open door for assistance. Previous customers donations were readily accessible to anyone, not secured at all to prevent someone from just walking off with goods. I clearly overheard workers socializing with each other; however, no one would provide assistance even though they saw me. Once a male employee came to the donation door, he had a poor attitude and acted as if he was doing me a favor by assisting me. After leaving my donations, I just drive off with the intent of letting it go, but discovered I overlooked several pairs of shoes intended for donation. Dang, I had to go back! In an attempt to remedy the problem, I called and spoke with a manager. As I described the situation, the conversation abruptly ended. She hung up! Guess she was not too interested in great customer service either. Very disappointed!!! Maybe next time, I should just have a yard sale. SMH!

This is the worst Goodwill Store I have ever been in. The prices are too high. You can buy the same item brand new for just a little more than what they price. Plus, a lot of items are broken or all the pieces are not there. I use to go to this store at least once a week; only because of the color tag discount. At least I could justify the price at 50% off. Now that they illuminated that, its not worth it. A lot of the items in this store is junk. I see items there that were there 3 or 4 months ago. There is no organization to the store and the service is poor. Always waiting in line way too long because they only have one register open.

Ugh. This store needs some serious organization, at least divide up long sleeve shirts from the tanks, and perhaps color coding? Its such a mad house because of its lack of organization. Also, im one thats always believed Goodwills prices are too high for whats offered. They always have 1 color tag thats on sale each week but I SWEAR they go through the store and remove 90% of those tagged items because I rarely find ANY! However, I gave it 3 stars due to the fact that the store is pretty large and i have found quite a few treasures... of course after searching for forever and paying way over price. Oh well.

The staff is always super nice here and there job center does wonders for the community. The shopping itself leaves something to be desired...Id compare it to a bad garage sale. Some of the other 2nd hand shops in town have much better quality. We were probably spoiled with the Goodwill store out west where something was used once (or never) and donated with tags still on...we make stops at the Jacksonville Goodwill for more of a selection. But you never know...you might find what youre looking for...

For those on a budget and wanting to add a new new things to their wardrobe, Goodwill can offer a few choices at reasonable prices. The way the clothes are sorted is by type and color, not by size. So you have to spend a bit of time searching for your fit. The sizes are marked by small plastic tag-holders and signs at the end of the rows.

None of the racks had size markers. And I have been to lots of goodwills in lots of places and this one prices their stuff at higher prices. For example shirts at goodwill here in east peoria il are 3.99 and they are 4.25 at brunswick goodwill

I always hated the smell in goodwill ...but I like the sales workers are nice not a sense of urgency but they are nice . Needs a little more organizing .
