They are horrible. The lady who did my hair burned my scalp with blow dryer and angrily fanned my hand away when I tried to touch it. This is where i messed up...she offered to wrap my hair and i said yes due to catching a flight to a funeral later on. I did this not knowing she was trying to hide the fact that she wronged me. When I unwrapped my hair 2 days later....the area that got burned formed a scab and my hair was stuck in the scabbing. i combed out the wrap and i was left with a huge bald area from the hair being burned off. I called the salon and spoke with owner a man, who yelled, cursed at me and hung up after telling me he cant do a thing about it and i was lying. And since i was out of town for my funeral he said I couldnt be believed since i couldnt come back in immediately. Bullshit! I called the police to file a report. I will never be coming back here EVER and i advise you not to either. The lady who did my hair did relocate to her own shop at New Concepts Dominican Salon on Hwy 138. I had an 8am appt and she never arrived until after 12pm. I quickly recognized her and her poor work ethic and left in the middle of her washing my hair. Never going back either. If you care about your hair and good service find a new location. I swear this on my life!!!

Ive been coming here for over a year. Not sure what the negative reviews are about but I can only speak for me. I have natural hair (4a) and have been to a few places to get a silk press. When they do it here, it just last longer, and I appreciate that. Do they use a lot of heat? Yes, has it damaged my hair, no. My hair has grown over 3 inches. They deep condition and sit me under the dryer, blow dry it, they flat iron (heat, heat). When I want to go back to a wash and go look, my hair takes just fine. The only reason Im not giving it all 5 stars is because the price seems to go up once youre a "regular" customer they find a reason to raise it by $5-10.

I do not complain about any services really but this service was unacceptable. I was here at this place since 9am and I did not leave until 3:30. It took so long for them to do my hair. I had to sit so long with no explanation. I just moved into the area and it was disappointing because this is right up the street from my house. This as my first and will be my last time coming here.

Took my son to have his hair detangled. Sonia was amazing! At first they had suggested it be cut as his knots were nearly to the roots in some areas. With much patience, they were able to comb it out, deep condition and trim it up. His hair looks incredibly healthy! Soft. Curly again. We will be back in a few Weeks again! Thesr ladies know their stuff!

My hair feels clean and healthy and silky! Theresa is amazing with long thick natural hair!! I was amazed bc no stylist can usually get my hair straight and she did without any problem♡ I will definitely come back and see her. I highly recommend Theresa bc she is professional and cares about the health of your hair.
