I went here because I tried dying my hair blonde only to end up with yellowish-orange hair. The colorist promised it would be an easy fix with some toner. She put on one coat of silver toner on it, rinsed it, and then put on another coat of toner. The results were really good, but toner is really cheap and all she had to do was paint it on and rinse it! Guess how much they charged me for some toner and a hair cut?!?!? 93 dollars! 93 dollars for toner and a haircut! And then of course you have to leave a tip for the colorist so it ended up being 100 dollars!!! Extremely overpriced. One hundred dollars and my hair is SHORT!! They literally needed an ounce of toner for my hair. That is a rip off. All though my hair was no longer brassy, I left the salon feeling as if they nickled and dimed me for every single cent I have. It is so unprofessional to not provide good value.

I went to Genesis to get a hair cut. I requested the specialist to be a level 4 out of 5 and got Ryan. Shes a very nice girl but doesnt know how to cut hair. I had beautiful long curly hair and asked her to only cut 3 inches of the length. She went over board and decided to cut a lot off. On top of that, the length from one side doesnt match the other one. I am so unsatisfied with my hair. Never going there again! Ive gone there for years and its always something with them. I am taking my money elsewhere. My friends and family go there but after they saw what they did to my hair, Genesis lost those customers too.

I took my mom in for a haircut as she was looking for a new salon so I thought to take her in and pay for her services would be a great gift for mothers day. She has short hair so she just wanted short layered cut. She came out looking chopped. She literally had holes and gaps in her hair. It was horrible and she was devistated. Few weeks later I went in for an updo. Looked nothing like the picture and by the time I got home from the salon most of the bobby pins have fallen out. When I complained to a friend she said she had the same expericance with the choppy hair cut.

I have been going to this salon for several years. I have always had an excellent experience. The negative reviews regarding price are interesting. You get what you pay for. The cost of chemicals is irrelevant. The costs are connected to the expertise. Several ounces of toner in the wrong hands will make a problem worse rather than correcting it. This should be clear since several ounces of hair color in the wrong hands created the problem in the first place.

I love Nicole! She always gives me great,stylin hair. She is a supreme colorist and her haircuts are in a word AWESOME!... I used to go to the companys training salon,The Process, and I was very satisfied. The prices are low because it is a learning facility. I have graduated to the mid price, Genesis Salon, and I will follow Nicole when she moves up the ladder to Salon 124. The customer service in this establishment is outstanding.

Ive been to this salon four times in a row. Charley did a great job, but she left for the new location. The next two stylists were mediocre and the last visit was the worst cut in my life. A five year old with kitchen scissors would have done a better job. Give this place a miss if you want any individual styling. They cant deliver.

I only go to this salon because of Shaina. She is amazing!!!! I am never disappointed with the results and she always takes her time to make sure its exactly what you want. I love their products too. I usually buy one or two when Im there based on Shainas recommendation and its always worth the money. Thanks again, Shaina you rock!

I have Stephen cut my hair and he always does such a great job. I go out of my way to go to Genesis because I"m so happy with the job he does. He isnt super chatty which I really appreciate but always give me something that I like and can recreate afterwards which I think is the most imprortant thing!

Love my stylist here! Roxana did an amazing job. I came in looking for a brand new look and she delivered. The cut color and highlights all look fabulous! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable stylist who actually cares what you look like and about the health of your hair.

Cheryl (currently a level 2 stylist) cut my hair this week and I love the work she did. She was efficient without coming across rushed and seems to know her stuff. She was super sweet, too! This is a salon that hairdressers work at after completing school. The levels indicate their experience!

My hair was dyed platinum and it looked amazing! I went back the 2nd time to get touch ups and I felt it was a little rushed, did have some missed spots but overall happy my hair. No yellow, no brass and everyone was very nice and professional.
