Wow, how things have changed since last year, that is according to the most recent reviews! Today, I am searching for tire services. Of course, I started checking online for reviews, and just out of curiosity, I decided to checkout this Pep Boys location. Particularly, since they did a great job servicing my air conditioning unit last year. Im so sorry that I failed to do a review at that time. Because needless to say, I was totally disappointed to read the comments posted recently by some dissatisfied customers. I do believe these customers; however, I also believe that there may be other satisfied customers like me who failed to write a review recently about service that was at least satisfactory. Thats because generally speaking, most customers expect to receive satisfactory service from any establishment. They normally wont comment unless they receive terrible or exceptional customer service. My previous A/C service at this location wasnt exceptional, but I was well-satisfied with my initial phone conversation and experiences. I was charged the exact pricing quoted by phone regarding the diagnostics and checking out my vehicle. They did not proceed with any additional work without my consent or without letting me know the extent of the repairs, the cost, and how long it would take to complete the job. Actually, they resolved my immediate issue without any more work being necessary. Nor, was I pressured to have the additional work done that they recommended. Thats why I feel more compelled to give my review now about my past experience even though it was a year ago. I can say that I am willing to give this Pep Boys location another try - once I see their ratings improve. Because my vehicle will need some additional repairs in the fall, before winter. I might still decide to go there for the tires. At any rate, I will definitely comment regarding my experience - good or bad. So, hopefully the management is resolving these staff issues so that favorable ratings are posted. Lastly, I do appreciate the management/corporate offices commentary and efforts attempting to further investigate the issues of the dissatisfied customers. I hope some of the dissatisfied customers are willing to share more details with corporate so that they can rectify the problems for real. Good luck guys!

The manager is a polite man, but I couldnt say nice. I set an appointment 2 days ahead of time for 8:30. He wanted me to come in the next day but I couldnt. When I show up the day of the appointment and he asked me that I needed an oil change. Before I could tell him I had an appointment (he acted as though he had never seen me before and I have a fairly unique vehicle, which he commented about its uniqueness) he tells me that it will be a really long time before he can get to me because he has a 9am appointment. I kindly let him know that I had a 8:30 appt and he said oh, and then continued to ask me all of me vehicle info, which he had already entered in the computer for the appt. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation and balance. They forgot to do the tires. I left with just the oil change and went to Discount Tires for the tires. Discount Tires is great! I wish they did oil changes too. I have been to locations in at least 3 different states and they always have excellent service. I have spend probably several thousands dollars at Pep Boys at different locations and most of their locations offer poor to mediocre customer service at best. The morale usually seems bad and most of the time the managers seem like they dont want to be there.

Every single time I have brought my vehicles to Big Ten Tires on Salem Rd I have been pleased with their service and knowledge. They arent pushy about anything and they always seem to be looking out for me. I have been a customer for over 3 years now, my parents brought their vehicles here many times and received great service. Jason is extremely friendly and helpful. Big thanks to all the guys up there for all the great work you do. Coming up there today for a tire rotation as a matter of fact! :)

If I could give this location no stars or negative starts I would. My attorney will be contacting this establishment for harassment to my younger sister. She brought a car in to have the brakes checked and they refused to give her the car keys back, trying to bully her into paying for services. They also threatened to report her to the police if she left with the car. I called and asked on what grounds. They told me to inform the corporate office and i intend to follow up. Dont go here.

Never will I come here again, poor customer service and tracy and tiffany ladys doing the front act as if they have no idea what they are doing, a 20 minute oil change turns into a hour + ordeal.... **contacted by the manager in attempt to resolve and find out the issues and problems..... if I go back I will find out if anythinf has changed.. in the mean time I can only leave it with 2 star rating due to their customer service with my business.

I definitely will not take my car here or refer anyone to Pep Boys. Due to the condition of my car worsened after they serviced it. which the service they (Supposedly) have provided cost me $700 and when I took my car back 3 times for them to rectify the issue with my car they told me to that it would cost me an additional $500 . I felt robbed and I ended up taking my car elsewhere.

I will never bring my car here again. I paid for special they had going on with the oil change and the guy was upset that I didnt want to get my brakes done there and they did not replace any of my fluids in my vehicle and I had no knowledge of it. The service here is very poor and I would tell people to think twice before they come here

Im on a maintenance plan anf went in for a simple oil change and a wiper blade change and walk out with my company paying 195 $$ they stated that they checked the brakes and all this then left the old wiper blade in between the windshield on hood very very unhappy with there services they lie aboit there services just to make money

They should have checked to see if they had the parts before they even took the car in. They havent even touched the car for the past 30 mins and we have watched the mechanic talk on his phone and hang out in the back. We will not be returning to this establishment.

I went there this Friday morning on my way to work. William was amazing. He figured out what I needed for my oil change/ tire rotation and an inspection. He mobilized his staff and I was in and out. Professional and courteous.

Scratched wheels on SUV, Grease on steering wheel, also tried to see how long would be for tire rotation and balance, no cars in parking lot and would take 1 hr to get in! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!
