We travel across the country and go to Planet Fitness everyday. We enjoy being Black Card members and have been enjoying most Planet Fitnesses until this one! While waiting in our truck for the gym to open, in their parking lot, we were booted. A man approached us at 7 am when we went to go in and demanded $650 cash on a Sunday am. Now my first thought was, Ill go into the gym since Im a member and have been for years and they would verify my membership and my visits anthey would allow me as a customer to park in their parking lot. No such luck! The guy behind the counter threw his hands up in the air and said I dont know Anything about that. I emailed the owners of that location twice and have never been responded to. This is the way they feel about their customers! Upon reading further postings, I see how peoples cars are broken into and I am robbed of $650 on a Sunday am. Worst part was they demanded cash, which I didnt have and threatened to charge me $50 and hour until I got the cash. How could I do that on a Sunday am when my vehicle is booted!? If I am a planet fitness customer parked in their parking lot why was I targeted and harassed? They dont care about you they just want you money, its a trap and they are probably in on it. How do you decorate yourselves as a professional establishment at the same time allowing your clients to be victimized while patronizing your establishment ? The only reason we were in that parking lot was due to the fact that I am a member of your gym. They dont even deserve the 1 star I gave them!

Last night my boyfriend and I went to the gym for a late night workout. We left the gym around 11pm only to find our car has been broken into!!! Luckily I dont keep anything of value in my car, so they didnt take anything but $12 that I keep in my middle console for emergencies. Also, my car wasnt the only one broken into, it was about 5 cars that had been vandalized. Now the reason I am giving this gym a 1 star is because after talking to the police I learned that these burglaries have been going on for quite sometime, the police said they have been to that location every night and the gym is doing NOTHING about it, but freezing peoples accounts! This is appalling, they can hire security for $8.00 and that would solve the problem. I just read the google review that someone wrote about a month ago that stated 2 gentlemens cars were broken into in broad daylight and the owner of the gym responded to the review, so they know whats going on and refuse to fix the problem!

Im a currenty member as of now. The gym itself is great for what I need to do TO STAY IN SHAPE. The only issue that I have had with PlantFitnes is when I needed to transfer my membership from Decatur to Kennesaw because I moved. I followed all the step to get my membership transferred online and it didnt work, so I called the gym and they told me they couldnt help me and the only other thing I could do is open another membership in Kennesaw and pay another enrollment fee. Why do I have to pay another enrollment fee when I asked before joining that club could I transfer my membership. My issue is not paying another enrollment fee but SHADY BUSINESS DEALS. So beware if you think you will need to transfer!

Planet fitness is a waste of your time and money. They arent transparent and you end up losing more money if you arent aware of the small things. One other big downfall they dont provide a paper copy of your contract I guess this is is to keep up with their scam. I honestly had a terrible experience when it came to customer service. Its as if they could care less about your service but remember your money pays them so if you arent happy with the small things that are left out Id get rid of them quick oh and do it before the 10th of the month and more importantly get out of it after a week of joining!!

Since day one the staff has been very inviting and helpful! I tried the 30min circuit training and it was awesome! I did not give iy a five bc today while leaving the gym during lunch time two gentlemen had there cars broken into in broad day light. Perhaps the nearest precinct should be asked to include the parking lot in patrol route since mutiple businesses share the lot or a security guard installment from the gym. In spite of todays event, I always have a great time on my fitness journey. Im glad Planet Fitness is my home gym.

Manager is rude. There was a discrepancy with a bill that got auto-drafted from my account she told me she needed my card info including the the numbers on the back of my card. I saw her write them down in her notebook. I called billing and they said they didnt even need that info. I immediately cancelled my card. She wasnt very empathetic and just kept repeating the same thing over and over. She was no help at all. I started going to another location.

I was planning on joining this location this morning BUT after reading these post about the rude and unprofessional staff members, AND multiple people having their cars booted for over $600, Im going elsewhere. Im telling my friend and coworker to check these reviews out too before she joins too. It is so sad that in certain neighborhoods good folks are treated so poorly. PF, Yall do better...you reap what you sow.

I have just started, so far I am loving it. I am 56, and its nice to see people my age group and younger. I see below who are just started out like me and people you can tell have been working out for a while. You cannot beat the free personal trainer that comes along with the membership. It has always been clean and everyone friendly.

I love this gym but only giving 4 stars because when i want to hit the circuit room, ppl standing around, holding up spots and staff not addressing the issues of this. I could just walk around them but i love that room and want the full experience of my 30 min workout!!!!! Other than that, Love my home gym!!!!!!!!!!

My place. I feel so invigorated and accomplished when I go to the gym. The staff always welcome us guests when we walk through the door. Its a place where you can just be in your own headspace and get your workout on. Planet Fitness also offer classes with trainers if you need the extra motivation and guidance.

Lots of equipment but there is room for more in the weight area. Young lady shorted me on massage time. Two other people went in for massage and chair massage a couple minutes before me. Problem - Im done and they are still relaxing. I didnt get her name but she insists that I made a mistake. REALLY?

U guys truly stand by your slogan. Only reason for a 4 is because I notice people not wiping down equipment after they use it. Staff is busy to always not see whos not wiping down. Maybe as a company all over could put signs from corporate of whom ever asking people to please wipe down after use..
