"Call these guys first! They get the job done at a great price." Im usually not the type of person to write reviews but I feel I would being doing a disservice to other home owners by not providing this information. My roof was at the end of its life and like most people in this situation I was very overwhelmed by google searches to find out where to turn next. I went through 3 quotations by roofing companies then decided I would get 1 more so I could safely say I have completed my due diligence of reviewing the roofing companies in the Atlanta area. The General Manager, Phillip, personally came out to meet with me and was more than professional by simplifying the roof replacement terminology and process where I was felt comfortable enough to move forward with my decision. Phillip guaranteed the time frame (1-day roof replacement!), the quality of workmanship, and the warranty of their product / installation. Plus, came back and dropped off actual samples of shingles to help with my choice of color and style. Not a sample book...but actual samples. Knowing that I have convinced myself I have thoroughly reviewed all Atlanta roofing companies I decided to call Accent Roofing and schedule my roof replacement. Even though we put it on the books, I was still very skeptical about Accent Roofing completing my roof replacement in one day. My house is approximately 2800 square feet (not including the basement) and has a very steep roof pitch. Once the day came to replace the roof Mother Nature was working against us. The project manager, Mike, personally came to my house to inform me that they could not start work due to weather reasons however I would be first in line the following day. The following day came and the weather still wasnt cooperating however I was notified through email that they would try the following day. This process repeated again until we finally caught a break in the weather. Accent followed through with their commitment and started their work. Work day came and Accent Roofing still followed through with all of their commitments. Sent a more than qualified crew to site, executed with nothing other than professionalism, and got the job done in 1 day! The project manager was on-site and fielded any of my questions plus took the courtesy of following through checking all area, including my attic, for any leftover debris. Phillip followed through by checking back that I am more than satisfied and also notifying me that the warranty paperwork is in the mail. Im very impressed with Accent Roofing. I dont anticipate any issues with my roof but I feel completely comfortable if I do theses guys will make it right. Accent roofing has the best price, customer service, management, and crew. Dont waste your time and call these guys first.

Accent Roofing (Lawrenceville, Ga) is a family business. I had some storm damage to my roof and dealt with Tom Scribbons, who is one of the owners of Accent, along with his son, Phillip. (The company was recommended to me by our association president whod had his roof redone recently. He said they were terrific. The insurance carrier, because this roof could not be replaced with similar roofing (this roof was discontinued years ago in 2010 due to product issues); advised me they would replace the roof. Accent Roofing made my experience a pleasant one from the start. They provided me with an estimate and advised the estimate included some replacement of roof decking should there be any issues. I thought it was very reasonable. They made three contacts with me via email and phone prior to the date to replace the roof. (Barring weather of course.) They confirmed two days prior by phone, advising the date when the delivery of materials would arrive and where best to park. They advised what to expect when the crew arrived on Saturday.(August 5th). I have to say, they arrived before 8 a.m. as advised. They tarped all around the house and even parts of the porch. They removed all hanging plants and lighting around the front. The crew was polite and helpful. The foreman on the job advised me to feel free to ask any questions. They worked diligently and by six p.m. they had completed the roof with my new (brown) architectural shingles. Looked great and the cleanup was exceptional, using the magnet around the entire house a number of times, to pick up stray nails so my dogs wouldnt step on them. I have to tell anyone reading this review that if you need a new roof, I would definitely recommend them after my experience. Even my adjuster advised me when I told him of my choice, that hed never heard a bad thing about them from any of his insureds; that they appeared to have a lot of pleased customers. My experience with Accent aka Leaksmith is not consistent with these reviews. I had a minor roof leak and called Leaksmith; they are that only in name. When I called and said I had a minor roof leak, the tone from the person taking my call quickly changed—I’m thinking I did not represent a big paid day and not worth the time. But I was giving an appoint despite wasting the person’s time and about 7 days later or so a person shows up in an Accent truck. He was pleasant and generally affable but since I only had a minor leak his experience level was as low as the dollars my repair represented. He did not go on the roof nor did not want to go in the attic but felt confident in diagnosing the leak from ground level. His diagnosis turned out to be completed wrong and I trusted my instincts accordingly and sought another opinion. Good thing because the other roofer I contacted quickly climbed on the roof and found the leak. He also took to the time to inspect my attic—without any prompts from me. The source of my leak was unrelated to what the Accent guy said and my cost was less than 20% of what Accent quoted me. I’m giving Accent one star because they at least answered the phone, sent a guy out, and sent an email. I think that might be worth something to someone.

Top notch service. Phillip came out and assessed our roof and then came out again when our adjuster came. His knowledge and professionalism was much needed and appreciated. He walked us through the process of going through our insurance as well as what the process would be on the day of the work. When I had some follow up questions, Phillip was always quick to either pick up the phone or call me back. The day before the actual work was to be done, we got a call from Accent Roofing giving us instructions on the next day so that we could be prepared. The day of the roof installation, the big team came early and started the work for the day. Mike Spence was the lead supervisor. Mike was fantastic, working with us as well as the team. I can tell a lot about a company by the way they treat the staff and they did a great job of making sure the team was doing the work effectively but also making sure they had breaks. After the roof was done, the team cleaned up our driveway and surrounding areas. Mike made sure to talk with us before leaving. Overall, we are so pleased with Accent Roofing and would highly recommend them. They quality of their work is superior.
