I recently had energy efficient windows installed by Power Home Remodeling Group and I am amazed by the quality and customer service. It’s only been a year since I bought my house and I wasn’t really planning to spend any more money into it. I bought my house during the early summer so my bills were not so bad when it comes to cooling the whole entire house. Once July and August hit my bills exploded due to cheaply installed windows that the previous owners rigged up with cheap standard hardware store brands. The winter was worse since the heat was escaping like crazy. Because of this I decided to go to the Philadelphia Home show to go window shopping ha ha………….eh. That’s where I first met the Power Home Remodeling Group sales rep. I told them my situation and they said that they would hook me up with a free quote. First of all these guys don’t play around when they tell you that they are going to call you they are on top of it. A representative came over my house to show me their company’s products. Right off the bat I was amazed by the durability of their custom windows. The crazy thing about it is that it’s made locally which was pretty cool. They will explain to you about Low e glass, their custom designed frames and the magic of argon gas. I was broke at the time when they come over my house so I didn’t agree to have windows install plus I was afraid to commit. As the heating bills started acting up again I’ve considered that the investment would pay for itself and gave them a call (plus my girlfriend shot my window with a bow and arrow a day before I decided to call them). I only wanted four windows done but when a sales representative come over a second time I went all out and decided to have 12 windows and a sliding door installed. First a project manager comes over the house and does a walkthrough then instructs the home owner on what to do before the project is started. Two weeks later they gave me a call 3 days before the install. They said that the windows would be done in one day. I was like yea right ok dude! On the day of the install a team of 7 guys went to my house at 9am on the dot. They first laid out tarps to keep my furniture clean and then pulled out all my windows and removed my old sliding door. They made sure that all of the new windows fit properly and were well insulated. Their truck is like mobile window factory if adjustments are needed they would just knock it out on the spot. The team was bunch of cool guys and made sure not to wreak my house during the install. They were like a bunch of construction ninjas. Once the windows were installed their boss did spot checks, showed me how the windows worked and how to maintain them. They promised me that they would clean up after themselves after the install and they kept their promise. After everything was completed they left my house spotless with no signs of debris. It’s crazy on how noticeable the room temperature have improved. Another plus was about 50% of the outdoor noise were reduced due to the new windows. Since they did a really good job I decided to have my gutters replaced as well, which will be done in about a month from now. Hey did I forget to mention that their products have a double lifetime warranty. Yo who does that?!? Their financing option is really good too for the quality of windows that they provide. Just think of it as an investment that will pay for itself. If you need things done to your house windows, roof, doors or gutters give them a call. It doesn’t hurt to get a free quote and see what they have to offer. Power Home Remodeling Group Ninjas!

Judging from many other reviews, I see that Im not the only one that has had a complete nightmare of an experience with this company. This company prides themselves on no advertising and that they do business only through customer referrals yet its obvious that they arent as successful as they claim to be seeing how desperate they are by their bullying and harassing sales tactics. I shouldve realized when we were burdened by their door to door salesman who knocked on our door during dinner hours despite our "NO SOLICITING" sign that this is a company that I should stay far far away from. Despite this, I was willing to schedule an appointment since we are looking into roofing/siding options. But let me tell you, this was the BIGGEST MISTAKE made ever letting this company into my home. The salesman that they sent out ended up taking over 5 hours of our time (10:30 AM to 4:15 PM).. yes that’s right.. FIVE HOURS showing us endless demos and their proprietary materials. I have a toddler and asked him to make the presentation end after 2 hours when she was done with her nap and that we needed to get on with our daily schedule of work and life yet he proceeded to disrespect us by taking another 3 hours to present his shady business with no pricing. By the 5th hour after being presented with the pricing but telling him, despite his attempted strong-armed sales tactic that we make a commitment that day to his quoted price of $27K for a new roof on our 2300 sq ft home or he would lose some of his salary, that we weren’t interested in making a commitment and that he needed to end his presentation, he still proceeded to ignore my requests and asked my husband to go over more samples with him and that he was going to itemize everything for us which would “only take a few more minutes”. The situation got so bad that I had to threaten to call the police to have him escorted out of my house. The salesman was extremely disrespectful and confrontational and had absolutely no respect for our time or our request for him to leave our home. I was pretty creeped out by this person and the fact that he wouldnt leave my house after repeated requests. I also find it weird that they already had pictures of my house taken from a drone that he said was flown in from Philadelphia and taken last year. I’ve fact checked things that he told us and found so many lies told by this salesman. I called and spoke to the VP of GA Sales who assured me that this would be taken care of. Never did I receive a follow-up call about the situation or any other apology phone call from this company about this terrible experience which shows that this is the type of business practice that they encourage. This company is very intrusive and harassing. It’s very obvious through their weird recorded phone calls confirming that it’s ok to call you that there’s been previous issues with this company. I also found it weird that they require that your husband be home to make all of the decisions. There’s no way that my husband or myself would ever allow this company to do any work on our house let alone step foot in our house ever again.

One day a guy came to our door to market windows and roofing from POWER. I had asked the man to have someone come by later when my husband got home because we were looking into one day getting a new roof and a little info couldnt hurt. I received a phone call confirming that the representative, Dan Chorzempa, would be stopping soon. So when Dan comes he is just super friendly. He told us everything we needed to know about their roofs and showed us the different materials used. What we thought would take a half hour turned into a few hours. Dan gave us so much information but also chatted with us like he had been a friend of ours for years. We decided to get the roof done and we had briefly touched on the subject of windows. He asked if we wanted to see a sample of one and his enthusiasm made us excited to see it. Im so glad we did! The windows features amazed us just as the features we had heard about for the roof. Im telling you Dan is just amazing! He was so informative and so friendly. In the end we decided to do our roof, the garden window, and our sliding door. The workers came early and got things done in great time. They were always very respectful of not only us, but our things as well. When time came for us to inspect the work we were just overjoyed. The work was perfect. The men pointed out things they had done for the roof, showed us everything about our sliding door, and asked if we liked it. Of course we loved it and their clean up was pristine. I was shocked that not even one nail was left behind! So the work is done and we assume thats it. My husband gets a phone call from consultant James Kemp who would like to stop by to check the work and see how we like it. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable too. (I dont know where they find these guys, but GREAT JOB!.) He did the walk through with us and just as we were sitting down we asked him about the windows. We needed to get some of them done and just wanted to get estimates. He measured the windows and gave us the price because it was going to be for a future time. In the end after talking to him we actually decided to get it done now. He told us about an offer for financing and gave us more information on that so we could have it for when we decided. After hearing about it there was no way we could say no. We really needed these two replaced right now and it would save us quite a bit of money in the end. Im just so glad that we had POWER for our projects. In the future the rest of our windows will be done by them as well. The people there are AMAZING and so are their results. You cant argue with great quality work!
