My roof got damaged from the wind storm on March 8, 2017. I called a couple roofing companies to come to give me an estimate. All of them took a quick look from the ground, quickly gave me an estimate and left. Some of them didn’t call back or did not come as promised. I found New Roof in the phone book and gave them a call, Jeff Greaves (the owner) and his assistant came to my house within a few hours. Jeff and his assistant climbed on my roof and did a very thorough inspection. They covered all the areas that were missing shingles with tarp to prevent further damage from rain and snow while waiting for the insurance adjuster come to do their estimate. Two weeks later, when the adjuster came, Jeff and his assistant got on the roof with the insurance adjuster to show him damaged area that the adjuster missed. He negotiated with the insurance adjuster to have the insurance company pay for a new roof. Even though the adjuster did not approve for a new roof, Jeff was able to show the adjuster all the damages and got me the money I needed to fix my roof and replace my window. Two days later, Jeff and his team came to replace all the shingles that got blown off during the storm, glued the shingles that were lifted. They did a very thorough and detail job on my roof. Jeff inspected the roof again after his team completed. Throughout my interaction with Jeff, he is a nice, friendly and honest man. I have recommended him to my friends and neighbors. I am highly recommended New Roof, not only because this is a local company, but also because of the 39+ years experience in roofing and multiple certifications and awards Jeff and his company received. Thank you Jeff P.S. There were a couple of “storm chaser” roofing companies that guarantee to have the insurance adjuster to approve for a new roof. If they can’t, they would pay for the new roof themselves “too good to be true right?” My neighbor signed up with one of those companies, but when they were unable to get the adjusted to approve to pay for a new roof (my neighbor’s roof was in a worse condition than mine). They did not pick up the phone when my neighbor tried to call them after that.

After obtaining 3 estimates, we chose to have our roof replaced by New Roof, Inc. The owner, Jeff Greaves, came out to give us an estimate on a Saturday in February and on the following Tuesday his crew of certified roofers and other experienced employees completed the entire job in just this one day! The roof boards needed to be replaced, more insulation was blown in making us “above” code, ventilation was increased, bathroom vent tubing that had been just lying on the floor in the ceiling were now vented out, and high quality GAF materials were used. Jeff himself not only oversaw the entire job but personally installed a new whole house ceiling fan for us during the insulation process! The entire crew was courteous, hard-working, and efficient. The clean-up was thorough. The price was equitable. Just an aside: Three winters ago, I managed to become stuck in ice and snow one evening on a residential street in Ann Arbor. After more than 40 minutes of attempts and disconnections with my insurance road-service, Jeff and one of his employees were passing by my predicament. They got out of their truck and with much effort, managed to set my van free! They wanted no compensation, saying that this is “just what people are supposed to do for each other”. Jeff did hand me a business card which I saved. For my husband and me, the call we made to the phone number on this business card to New Roof paid off. We love not only the new look but the assurance that this roof is of substantial quality and will last a very long time! Thank you, Jeff and staff!

This is not a professional company! I am hired them to do a job on my house. They came out to do an estimate and then I contacted them again to get the work done, but didnt respond. Then a few days later they sent people out from another roofing company to do the work, but the people that showed up didnt have the correct information about the work that needed to be done. They had the name, address, and order for someone else. When I called the sales person I talked to before to complain and get things straightened out, he insulted me and my wife and hung up on me.

1.0 star rating 3/28/2017 I called these guys twice to look at my roof. Both times they assured me they would call me the next day to tell me when they were coming to the house to look at my roof. Both times they were a no show (or phone call). The first time they said they were swamped. Shame on me if I called them a third time. If they value customer service this little, chances are they will run away after payment if there is any problem with their work after the fact. I would not risk spending my money on these guys. Buyer beware.

New Roof did an outstanding job on my roof. I had wind damage and thought the insurance process was going to be difficult and would have to haggle with the adjuster. New Roof handled it all and delivered a product exceeding all of my expectations. Reccomended to many friends and family.
