March 8, 2017 there was a major wind storm that went through our area. It ripped off shingles on every part of our roof as well as exposed a large portion of the plywood underneath the shingles. We called Goods roofing to come and inspect our roof after we made a claim to our insurance. Joe was the roofer the company referred to us. He said it would be a little while before he could inspect our roof because of all the damage around the neighborhood and their workload. I understood that but still needed my roof tarped where the wood was exposed. They came out the next day and charged us $500 for an emergency tarp. Weeks passed with numerous calls on when they would check out our roof in order to send an estimate to our insurance. Finally, they came out and examined our roof. Joe said we needed a whole new roof and would send my insurance the estimate as well as his findings. Another month went by and I contacted my insurance. They never recieved his estimate. So I called joe and he said he sent it to my fiance. My fiancé never recieved an email from him. So I called back and asked him to send it to me so I could send it to my insurance directly. Let me clarify that I only wanted the report to get the approval from my insurance for the roof replacment. I was willing to wait until goods roofing had time to fix my roof. I understood they had tons of work and Id have to wait my turn. Days passed, and after some more calls hethen finally sent me 6 pictures. No report, just pictures. I called him again and he said I had to contact my insurance to get a second adjusment. When I spoke with my claims adjuster she said she needed his report and also set up an appointment for Saturday June 24th. More than 3 months after the initial storm. When I contacted Joe to request the actual report, he said he would bring the report to the second adjustment on that Saturday and he stated he would be there during the adjustment. Saturday came, and he never showed. My adjustor called him 3x. My adjustor waited 2 hours for him. My fiancé called him several times. I called him several times and left a voicemail. I even called goods roofing and selected the emergency line (because they are closed saturdays). I left a voicemail on their emergency line stating Joe never showed and we could not get ahold of him. It has been a week, and I have never gotten a return call from Joe or his company. They charged us $500 for an emergency tarp, and Joe mislead us the entire time that he would fix our roof. Due to the wind storm, roofers are backed up in our area. Now I had the luxory of contacting another company to do the work Joe and goods roofing promised to do. I have to start all over on the waiting list. I wont have a roof inspection from the company for four more weeks. Then after that, I get to wait until they have finished the work for clients in line prior to us. Its been since March 8th that our roof has been damaged and thanks to good roofing/Joe I dont believe my roof will be fixed any time soon. I will never refer this company or joe to friends or family. The company and Joe are very unprofessional.

Not a good experience! For the thousands of dollars spent on a new roof I expected excellent customer service from the workers to the sales men to the owner. The damage left on my property each night as well as the lack of respect from workers as they left razor blades on our property and cigarette butts was very frustrating and alarming with the thought of young children or pets stepping on these items or anyone for that matter since it was barefoot season. The owner did not think it was a priority to call me back to discuss my concerns until 2 weeks later. I actually gave 2 stars only because as of a few months later our roof does look great but the the overall experience was more than a headache for the amount of money we spent on this project that should have been easy and stress free for the homeowner.

My attic insulation was woefully inadequate and I was throwing money away as a result of high energy bills. The guys from Goods Roofing came to my home at my convenience and completed a thorough analysis of my insulation needs. They arrived timely to perform the work and now I have 10" R-39 blown fiberglass insulation in the attic. You can feel the difference and Im very pleased with the quality job they did and their professionalism. I like the fact that they are a local company and based on their performance, I would certainly recommend Goods Roofing to anyone.

If anyone is looking to have a new roof installed, I highly recommend Goods Roofing. The employees are extremely courteous and respectful. I had four other companies provide me with an estimate. However, upon meeting the owner, Mr. Kelly Good for my estimate I was so impressed by his professionalism and business ethic I hired his company on the spot. I wish more companies displayed this kind of pride and honesty as Goods extended me. Way to go guys! :-)

Ive had Goods Roofing work on my house many times. They are always professional and polite. I had two trees make holes in my roof, had insulation installed along with fixing issues with air circulation in my attic all worked on by Goods Roofing and the results have been excellent. They went out of their way to ensure the job was property done and I couldnt be more happy. Highly recommended.
