In 2008 I had CS roofing give me a quote. Well, I did accept the bid like everyone else because it was the lowest, but it was the biggest mistake of my life. My roof had major leaks 30 days after it was replaced. The skylight they installed was the wrong size ( to small ) material was showing in the inside of master bathroom. When I had gone on top of the roof with one of their roofers to look at shingles, and skylight on top of the roof I actually saw two different colors of shingles on my roof. To this day if there was no problems and no leaks I would have two different colors of shingles for a BRAND NEW ROOF installed by CS Roofing. Even in 2009 after the winter of 2008 I had more leaks and Val would not assist because I was out of the limited warranty they have and I would have had to pay for them to come and repair. My roof has leaks ever since they have replaced my roof in 2008 the leaks will not stop and its 2014. I have major, major damage to my ceiling, and insulation inside my house and after this last rain in Lansing, MI ( May 2014 ) I have had enough. The whole company is jacked up and they do not want to help their customers after they have been paid. I will never do business again with them, nor recommend them they are very crooked company. I have contacted Owens Corning because of the Warranty I purchased for roof, believe if it’s the fault of installation ( CS Roofing ) I will place that in reviews as well.

CS Roofing is a great company to work with. When I called to get a quote the lady that answered the phone was very friendly and professional. She answered all my questions and I never felt like she was in a rush. When the salesman came to our home. He was just as polite and thoughtful on answering all our concerns about how our roof would be installed. They workmenship was just great!! The installers did a great job. They were there on time to start our job and worked non stop til it was done. I have alot of flowers and they did not damage a one. They cleaned up our yard.. there was not a nail left behind. After our job was completed the salesman came back to make sure everything was done correctly and to make sure we were happy. Not to many companies come back to see you after the job is done.. But they do. I would highly recommend this roofing company to do any house. I referred a friend who had a roof leak problem and CS Roofing Co. was right out there to help her. Stopped her leak and she loves her new roof as well. Thank You CS Roofing..

CS Roofing put a roof onto the addition I had built and I was very comfortable with the way they took the time to explain to me how the valleys were going to get cut into the pre-existing shingled home. this area was my biggest concern since the transition into the old work was the biggest area for a leak or ice dam could happen. The people were very friendly and the job was finished and cleaned up in a timely manner. 5 yrs or so later I had one row of shingles come up on the south side of the roof. I called CS roofing they came out to look at it and had their servicemen repair the problem no charge. Its great creating a relationship with people that live close to you in the same community. I have referred this company on other jobs in past and will continue on doing so.

Although they finished in the time that they estimated, they never did completely finish the job. Work was completed late Friday night and inspected by the supervisor on Monday. They needed to fix one thing and clean up--it was two weeks and countless phone calls before they finally came back to fix the one issue. They never did clean up scraps of shingles and nails around my house! As far as I know, the work is good (hard to tell until you have a leak), but for the same price I could have gone with a company that uses a metal detector to ensure that my 1 year old daughter isnt toddling around picking up nails at our house! So, if you dont mind having to hound your roofer and clean up their mess yourself, this would be a fine company to employ!

I just wanted to add my notes about CS Roofing. I have dealt with them for a number of years on various houses I have owned and have been 100% satisfied with all their work. Whenever I have called their main office, I get a genuine professional "How are you?". Whenever theyve said they will be there, you can guarantee that they will be on time, if not early. They recruit only the best people to get the job done and I have never been upset or disappointed in any of their work that they have done for me. Kudos to CS and their great team. Thank you CS Roofing for my beautiful roof! Vernon Foot was very professional and easy to work with. The roofers were also professional and cordial. I was usually in an out during the time they worked on my roof and one day their music was kind of loud but I figured Id rather hear that than the hammering, sawing and overall work noise. My roof was leaking around the chimney. This area looked unsightly secondary to patchwork sealing done in the past and they fixed this. It has rained several times since the repair and all is dry and the roof/chimney look good.

The work was outlined in advance very thoroughly by Vernon and the crew did a professional job, from the point of tear-off, with ongoing clean-up, on up to the last row of new shingles. This was a quality job at a reasonable price in comparison with other bidders. It was a winning combination: highly rated materials (Owens Corning Duration) with good workmanship by a friendly crew. We had CS Roofing work on our garage two years ago and then again on our house roof this summer. They are fantastic. Both times they gave us the lowest bid and then did an amazing job on both roofs.
