Not a great experience overall. I wouldnt use them again. In short, the roof is good, and the guys who put it up were hardworking, on-time, and cleaned up well after themselves. So the product is fine, but dealing with the main office, or getting answers to questions is a joke. Plus they do not deliver what they agree to, and they outright ignore any questions you have. Complaint 1. Being told you would get a call back that day, dont hear back for 2/3 days. Happened several times. Not the biggest complaint, but poor basic customer service. It just sends a message that youre not important enough to follow back up with. Complaint 2. Initially I was quoted a 3 week out start date, when the salesman came to my home and I asked if we go with you guys, how fast is the turnaround time. End up being 10 weeks out. As long as they have been in business, they should be better at estimating start dates by now, so they are wildly inaccurate and unprofessional at best, or simply lying and deceitful at worst, in order to secure a job, instead of telling a customer it will take 10 weeks to come out. Complaint 3. I was told that bad weather was the cause of these delays. Workers being sick / bad weather can account for a certain amount of understandable wiggle room, but this amount of time is just unreasonable and unacceptable. Thats over a 300% margin of error. Complaint 4. I was also told that my gutters would be removed (but not re-mounted) by the roofers so that they could add new flashing to the side of the house too. I was told this and it was agreed before I signed the contract. After signing, that all changed to, now we cant guarantee they wont be damaged if we do that - so you can risk it with our guys doing it, but we wont fix or help you with any damage that takes place. Complaint 5. When you sign their release form, you also have to agree to certain things like you will cover any areas below skylights / inside the attic etc. They also have the option that you can check a box if youd like to see photo evidence of any wood they need to replace due to water damage. I requested that Id like to see photos of the wood they needed to replace, months later and a follow up email asking about it, I still havent heard anything. Complaint 6. I Had to hire a company to remove gutters before job could start. I used the (7 week later than initially advised) start date Tadlock gave me to arrange a date with the gutter guys in order to minimize the mount of time the gutters would be down. Then Tadlock pushed me back an extra week again, after the gutters are already down, a day before they were set to start. I explained to Tadlock why it was important to me to get a precise start date, but this apparently didnt matter much to them. Im a business owner myself, and if I gave my customers such poor service, I wouldnt last very long. No apologies or explanations. In summary, this is the only time Ill work with this company, and I wont be recommending them to anybody I know, unless I really dislike the person :-) Complaint 7. Follow up: Im now looking to get a price for Hurricane clips to be added to our roof in the attic. Its been 2 weeks now going back and forth with them about this. First they refused to believe that the house didnt already have them, based on the age, to not hearing from them for 10 days about having a guy come out to take a look and give me an accurate quote. I honestly just give up with them at this point.

Would never recommend this company. Once you sign the dotted line everything goes downhill from there. I never received the photos of the wood rot they replaced as requested. Communication with this company in general is horrible. The office staff is extremely rude. My scheduled re-roofing date was pushed back several times. The roof was replaced in less than one day and the job was done poorly. Due to the rescheduling I was not able to be present when the work was done and no one seemed interested in the questions I had after the fact. There are uneven shingles on the front of my property that I was told would "flatten out over time," and the hardie board right above my shed now sits about 2 inches from the actual house. This company also does not clean up well after themselves. About a week after the roof was replaced I stepped on a rather large rusted roofing nail that was discarded in the grass in my front yard. It is this companys policy that you pay in full prior to scheduling a city inspection of the roof and they also make you sign a contract that states you will pay within 7 days of project completion. This is regardless of if you are happy or not with the finished product. Very poor way to conduct business. Cant state enough how disappointed I am in not only the customer service but the quality of the product.

I currently live in North Carolina and own a home in Tallahassee Florida. I have tenants in this property and when they informed me there was a leak in the roof I called Tadlock the next day. They sent a technician out immediately and I had repair quote in less than 5 days. Judging by the cost of repairs and age of the roof I also decided to get a full replacement quote as well. Both quotes were done free of charge and were completed in a timely manner. I chose to go with replacing the roof and the staff in every aspect was extremely helpful. They were able to answer any of my questions any time I called and were able to reschedule my roof replacement around my tenants due date for her newborn child. They also put a temporary patch over the leak free of charge as well. The whole replacement was completed in two days. I felt that every time I talked with any of their employees that they actually cared about the well being of the family and my level of satisfaction. Hands down the best experience I have had working with any company. Highly recommended.

Start to finish, my experience with Tadlock Roofing was a pleasure. The estimator inspected the roof and came back with estimates at three price levels that he took the time to explain to me. Because I had a rather large rotted spot in the roof, he also told me there might be an additional expense for decking (I ended up needing the additional wood when the old roof was removed, but the price increase wasnt more than $200 and was no surprise). I was amazed that the actual roofing process took just two days. I was even more amazed to find that at the end of the first workday and at the end of the process, the workers did an immaculate clean-up. There wasnt a speck of debris after they left. Each member of the Tadlock staff was professional and pleasant to work with. My roof has a 40-year warranty, so Im pretty sure I wont be needing their services again, but I would heartily recommend Tadlock to my friends.

Tadlock Roofing has proven to be everything they claim to be. From the first interaction with the sales consultant to the final inspection, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Plus, my 30-year-old shingles have been recycled and the new roof looks amazing. For full disclosure, I have the opportunity to provide professional services to Tadlock Roofing, so there was never a question about who would be replacing my roof. However, after experiencing the production side of the company, I could not be more impressed. The company culture that Dale and his leadership team have created shines through at every phase of the process, and I am extremely pleased with the outcome.
