I am so disappointed with Fantastic Sams. You advertise kids hair cuts all the time, but yet you choose to employ people who obviously dont like kids and have absolutely no respect. My husband and me took our 6 year old son in to have his haircut today. The experience was absolutely horrible. The girl who cut his hair was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She ignored everything we said until we repeated what we wanted 3 or 4 times. She was going so fast with the clippers she kept pulling his hair, and she didnt even acknowledge him when he said it was hurting him. She just laughed it off and put oil on the clippers. Which did not help, because she was just rushing through the hair cut as fast as she could. I felt so bad for my son, when we got in the car he says " it didnt hurt that bad at first, but the pain kept getting worse." You could see the clippers pulling his hair. He was being so good and sat still for her the entire time, he even tried talking to her and asking her questions and she completely ignored him. She did a horrible job his hairline is uneven around his ears and the back of his neck, and she got hair all over him and we had to ask her 3 times to wipe the hair out from under his neck. I didnt want to cause a big scene which is why i didnt say anything at the time. I was going to tell the cashier except she was also our cashier, she didnt even give us a receipt. We are so angry over this and we will never go back. I hope no else has to go through this.

This place messed my hair up two times in a row. At first, I thought that it was simply because the hairstylist sucked (I was right), she didnt care about my hair she simply started chopping away and took off more hair than I had asked. There was no style she was just going wild on my hair before I asked if a different method would be better. I asked for an inch and she took off easily an inch and a half. To make things worse my hair wasnt even and she asked how it looked. I barely had any hair left to make it even... The second time I thought things would be different because it was a different stylist, but I was wrong, it was basically the same mess except I asked for half an inch this time, but we had to take off 1 inch because she somehow messed my hair up... I was upset almost to where I was about to walk out without paying. This place is mediocre at best, there might be a few stylists who know what theyre doing, but from my experiences it seems like most of these "stylist" must have gotten their hair cutting degree out of a cereal box.

Ive been here 3 times prior to today have always had great service until today, When first walking in the red head girl at the front was very rude, I seen the girl that usually cuts my hair but unfortunately she was busy so I went with a different girl named Mikayla, NEVER again will I let her cut my hair, I get a real easy buzz cut each time and Mikayla was also rude, very rough and did a half ass job, I came home and did a better job giving myself a hair cut fixing all the places she missed, IF I ever go back I will make sure to wait until the other stylist is available, just wish I knew her name so I could give her a good review and call to make an appointment to be sure she would be the one cutting my hair

Dont EVER go to this salon (the one in Caldwell Idaho). Seriously. This is one of the most unprofessional hair salons I have ever visited. Not only was my stylist rude, but she also clearly doesnt know how to consult with her clients much less know how to do hair. The quality sucks and the staff are rude; they colored my hair ORANGE and then told me "that was the color I picked" when it clearly was not. Please never visit this salon, for your own safety.

I had an allergic reaction to their wax and called to see if they had changed the type of wax and all I got was attitude. Mind you I was only trying to figure out why I have so much redness and bumps along my brow bone, I wasnt trying to get a refund or complain about the fact that my brows are too thin or two different shapes. For $20 that I paid to get my brows and stach waxed plus a $10 tip I can probably find a much nicer place.

RUINED my hair! Asked not to take off length, but clean up layers and blend the bangs a bit. Showed photos of my hair the way I like it. They took off like 3 inches, thinned it instead of fixing the layers so now it looks like a bunch of random different length hairs and cut my bangs SHORT. I am LIVID, there is no fixing this until its grown out quite a bit, and I have to give a presentation in front of a large group in TWO DAYS!

This place is friendly, professional and Fantastic! Chantal is Amazing!! They get me in last minute, get my hair right every time, and have even done my daughters hair for home coming and senior pictures.

I asked to bleach my hair blonde and the guy who works there said hes been doing hair for 30 years. He ended up leaving it brown. Brown is not blonde! They suck at doing hair.
