I am one to never complain, but if it helps someone else than I will. I went to this salon because it was recommended by a co-worker. I called them to let them know that I was going to be ten minutes late. When I got there they told me that I had to be changed to another stylist because mine would t have enough time. I had no problem with this because I was getting another master stylist. My stylist was very nice. I wanted to get blonde highlights. I even showed her a picture of my hair before I had my baby. She told me that she thinks a color would be better for coverage than bleach on my hair. She seemed to know her stuff and convinced me of it. She was so personal during the 3 1/2 hour process and I felt very comfortable. But after all said and done my hair looked gold and orange. I thought may be it was the lighting. Also every stylist on the way out complimented me on it. But as I got in the car with the sunlight on it I thought yes it looks orange, but maybe its in my mind. It hasnt even been 24 hours and 5 people (some random) said wow who did your hair because it has an orange tint to it. I am so disappointed because I paid 250.00 for this and it looks awful. One of the stylist should have noticed and said we cant have her look like that because she is walking advertisement. I think they knew it was bad but didnt want me to feel like it was. On top of it all my scalp has felt like its on fire since about an hour after I left. I will never return and will not recommend this place. Again my stylist Turner was really nice, but she should not be referred to as a master stylist because the work was not. My profile pic is what I wanted. blonde not orange. Now I will have to wait to go somewhere to fix it the right way and even pay more. Just sad. Dont believe the current rating. Most of their stylist are new and most of these reviews are from a long time ago. Sorry but I would recommend NOT going here if you are a blonde.

I would have given the rating a 5 star but the guy who answered the phone was absolutely ridiculous how he spoke to me. My esthetician, JAme was wonderful, she is always sweet, listens to my concerns and i always have a postive and relaxing experience when i leave there. She does my facials and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Now,, let me begin about why i rated this review a 3 star. I had an appointment with JAme a few Saturdays ago and my appt wasnt until 12:30. I had to reschedule due to illness so i called at 930am to reschedule for the next weekend. The guy who answered the phone first told me "you know, i wish you would have called at least 24 hours beforehand. You know this is how these girls earn their livlihood". i asked to be rescheduled for next saturday and he said "oh, sorry, shes all booked up. how about Sunday?" Ok.. I felt like i was a toddler being punished for hitting my sister. Things happen, and its not like i called 30 min before my scheduled appt to cancel or worse, did a no call no show. I thought i had given ample time for cancelling. I felt so guilty for rescheduling, but i didnt want to go in there and get my esthetician sick because i was "scorned" by the guy who answered the phone.. I felt he should not have the right to speak to clients that way- especially if i only rescheduled for the next week. I will still continue to go and see JAme because she is a wonderful person and i have been going there for many years, but the guy who answered the phone definitely needs to have a lesson or two in customer service. It is NOT ok to think you can speak to clients at a business like that and make them feel guilty for rescheduling!! That is just not good business practice. Very unhappy about the whole situation.

Update: I have gone back. I cant help it...Melissa does my hair and she is wonderful. They seem to have their front desk together, much better than 5 years ago. I will recommend this place now only because my girl is amazing! Old review: Not my first time here. Booked an appointment on a Thursday for Friday, next day...I knew it was a last minute appointment, but they had something available for the time i needed. Showed up on Friday, the receptionist at the counter checked for my appointment and said I didnt have one. Gave the name of the person I booked the appt with and he just said "Nope, we dont have you down". Not, "Let me check if theres a problem" or "not sure what happened, but let me see if we can fit you in anyway". I preceded to ask if there was anything available, and it didnt take him much time at all to tell me no - seems like he didnt even check. I just left because it didnt seem like there was a resolution coming from him. Later that day or a day after, I had a voice mail from that same receptionist stating that he did indeed find my appointment and apologized (didnt say what the prob was). Offered a 20% discount to come back, but already set an appointment elsewhere because of the lack of customer service. I LOVE aveda products, but im not going back here because of the lack of willingness to help me as a customer. Ill get my Aveda products elsewhere.

Dont go here! The owners are rude and dont care about anything except money. There going to use you as a ginney pig, and put their daughter ashley on you like they did to me! Ashley has no skill at all, she cant color, she cant cut, she cant blow dry, why is she even their????? She has no certification at all!!!!! Ashley ruined my hair, i went in for a root touch up for my blond hair and left with gray purple hair. I went back the next day after complaining, to have an experienced stylist fix the horrible job ashley did, and the owner had another stylist help the same idiot (ashley) proceed to try and fix my hair.NOW My hair is yellow stripped an fried. And the owners comment was it has contrast???? And they made me pay $200 for ruining my hair, the owner offered no refund at all. Proof that there is not a care in the world for the customer and only for the money. They let their incompetent daughter experiment on people, how can they do that?????????? Go elsewhere or suffer the consequences. Message me if you have any questions.

This salon is amazing and Turner is a miracle worker. I will admitt that yes the salon is more than I would like to pay, but it is worth it. I went in with orange hair because I bleached it and toned it at home. I was at the point where I thought no one could fix it. Turner managed to get almost all of the orange out and I am close to platnium blonde. She worked on my hair for 5 hours and was so friendly the entire time. I had fried my ends and was upset knowing that I was going to have to cut my hair, but she gave me the sexiest bob. I was amazed when I left that my hair was so soft and not damaged at all. You would never even be able to tell that I had ugly fried orange hair before. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. AMAZING!
