I lost my daughter and was in Colorado when I had to find a funeral home. I was referred to Zeyer. When I got there, in the most traumatic time in my life, they asked what I wanted. I expected that they would walk me through and lay out what I needed, not the case at all. I asked for everything and they pointed them out. They did however offer to call the place I wanted to hold funeral at. Then, during this week they called and told me I was no longer in control of what happened to my daughter, her X husband was, another blow at an incredibly horrible time.That took a day or so to straighten out, again only exacerbating the trauma, they were completely in the wrong. Then, I gave them pictures and words,page layout exactly to make her programs and with they refused to get a preview to me after repeated calls. I went day before funeral they still did not have what I asked for and then, the day before, told me they would not use "bad ass" to describe my daughter and what I wanted program to say they would not do, If I would have known earlier I would have went elsewhere days earlier for programs. Thank the Lord Cloverdale Funeral Home saw me right away and had programs ready in the morning of funeral, and they were perfect. Zeyer , of course still charged me for "work" their person did, which was not even what I told them to do. And then, the actual funeral was just as horrific,they were not at all helpful,the place we had the funeral at had to find Kleenex for people to use. To make everything even worse I had a limited amount of programs from Cloverdale and one of the Zeyer employees who was handing out programs ,took one and put it in his pocket. There is so much more to tell. Also, the military was paying for it and they pay a certain amount and Zeyer somehow used every bit. Cloverdale quoted me half and I know they would have done a good job. Zeyer was horrible and a year later I am still traumatized every time I see their name.

Zeyer Funeral services were well-performed and professional down to the last detail. In my initial search, I saw that Zeyer was well within the price range of other funeral chapels. Zeyer also recommended several ways that I could save money (from their already-reasonable prices), which I would not have known otherwise. They absolutely put people before profit. I also chose Zeyer based on the many families I know who have used their services and have nothing but good to say about them. In every way, they were kind, dignified, and treated my loved one and our family with exceptional respect. They went far and above to help me later with a difficult family member and protected my rights. I give Zeyer my strongest recommendation.

Last fall my father past away – like many people we had to worry about a funeral and all the details. Needless to say, it can be a stressful time. My folks had already made arrangements to use Zeyer Funeral Chapel in Nampa and Perry Zeyer is the funeral director there. I have to say that we were all impressed with the caring attitude Perry showed on the evening Dad passed away. He couldn’t have been more sensitive to our feelings. The funeral was handled in a professional and efficient manner and the costs were very reasonable too. I give Perry and Zeyer Funeral Chapel a 5 star rating.

My wife and I attended a funeral for our old neighbor and yikes....I mean YIKES! The staff was not attentive at all. I waited and waited for them to give me one of those funeral program things and then asked where the bathroom was and the guy, which I think his name was Perry, said thats why we have signs. Our neighbor looked horrible as well. He actually looked better in the hospital two days earlier than he did at the funeral. Unbelievable the lack of professionalism this place showed

After the death of my sister all we needed was help, but we didnt get it from Zeyer. They were inappropriate, improper, and incompetent. They ended up giving control to get ex husband then charging us for his fees (still are). They still havent apologized. Cloverdale saved us for 1/8 if the price. They showed up at the funeral and took up space (thats all). Save yourself trouble and go to cloverdale.

They led us through the arrangements and were totally supportive throughout the process so we could take care of family and friends.
