I had the privilege of observing at, “Creative World School” on Friday 5/16/16 I’m studying Early Childhood Education at a local college and needed to earn credit hours through observing at a school. First off, “Dori Vander Kamp” is a total sweetheart and so helpful! Dori was so nice, she knew all the parents and kids buzzing in and made sure to greet them all with a big smile & good morning. Dori went into depth about the school’s curriculum and the extra services they provide such as before/after school teen care. Dori gave me a tour of the whole facility and it was way bigger then I had imagined. I also met the administrative director who was also extremely kind to me and genuinely wanted to know my thoughts on the school. In Ms. Slivias class she refers to her students as, “my friends” which I never even thought to do with my own. Miss Silvia would say things such as, “Line up my friends” or “Only my nice friends will be going outside” ect. It was the fact these kids really viewed her as a teacher and a friend. The place is beautiful, (I’ve seen some gross facilities) every time a snack was brought out, gloves were put on to pass the food out and the kids always washed their hands before eating or after using the bathroom (Ms. Silvia made sure of it). She provided structure that the kids needed and was a fun teacher. I’m grateful to have had this opportunity & left with a bunch of great ideas! This school provides more then your basic care.

when we first starting taking our son to this school the director was great, the teachers were great because every time I had an issue with something they would fix it. A year passed by and they got a new director and also one of my sons teacher had left. There is always new teachers coming in and out and same thing with the staff. Half the time they have to ask one another because they dont know. Two incidents had happened with someone breaking a parents window outside the school. I would think since it had already happened once they would either put cameras outside the school or have a police on stand by! But no! The other issue was that my sons grandma came to pick up my son a couple of times and never asked for her anything, not even an ID!!!! The staff is extremely nice and always greeting whoever comes in those doors but the lack of security is horrible! We want our kids to be safe and thats the reason my son was disenrolled at this school because if they cant handle small problems like that, they for sure wont be able to handle bigger problems. The day I disenrolled my son the owner didnt bother asking why. The fact that the staff has known for a couple of days that we are disenrolleing and yet still doesnt know. So our main issues were lack of security and the lack of communication. Ill be looking at other schools.

We love Creative World School. My 14 years old daughter, was 3/2 years old when Creative World School in Aurora opened its doors. She was one of the first students there, My son was two, he was one of the first ones too, they loved CW school so much, even today, they remember their teachers what they learned and how much they loved going to exploratorium and to the gym. Me and my husband loved CW school curriculum, we knew our kids will be ready for the first grade after attending CW school, and yes they were 100% ready. We have 3 year old who attends CW school right now, we wanted him to have the same education as older sibblings. We love I STEAM curriculum. We see that our son is involved in so many activities, in different areas every single day. He knows most of the letters and numbers, because of the teachers who knows how to work with young children. We love CW school and would recommend to any family in the area. You and your kid will love it. It doesnt matter your little one is 6 weeks old or 12 years old. Happy kids, happy teachers, happy parents- if you are looking for place like this visit Creative World School.

My children (10, 7, and 5yrs) have all been a part of the Creative World family since they were infants (12 weeks old). This school has fantastic teachers and resources for your children at all ages. The preschool curriculum is thorough, and my children have enjoyed all of the projects and activities that have helped them learn new concepts. My children were very prepared for entering Kindergarden and beyond. The summer and school vacation camps are filled with fun activities and field trips. Right now, my only child at Creative World is just turning 5yrs, and she has already went on three field trips as part of the Pre-K curriculum. Creative world maximizes your tuition fees and, as a parent, I feel very satisfied with the value of care and education my children have gotten at Creative World. This school should be on the top of your list to visit and should be the standard of care you would want for your child. Good luck in your childcare search...it is a very important decision for any parent!

My daughter is going to Creative World Aurora from approx 6-7 months now. Creative world is really amazing. I feel like they are extension of my family. The teachers are really good and passionate about what they do. Not only they take care of my baby but also they suggest / help parents whenever you have any questions related to the difficulties that they are facing related to their kids. It was really helpful for the first time parents like us. We have seen around 7-8 day cares in this area and talked to their teachers before settling down to Creative World Aurora because we found Creative World Aurora much more hygiene, friendly, passionate and knowledgeable teachers here than any other day care in the area.

One of the managers is very mean. When I first went to pick up my child she refused to open the door to let me in. She never really speaks to me and continues to give me dirty looks every time. The only time she is nice to me is when I write a check for my fees. Im not sure if it is a race thing or what but I am a black male. The teachers on the other hand are some of the nicest people and they do a great job with my child. Beware of the manager and if you are black proceed with caution you may be treated like a criminal.

Creative world aurora IL is amazing learning place for preschool children. My son is going there from approx one year when we shifted to this place and not only me all my friends n relatives are noticing his behavior change and his overall personality development in positive sense. He has more extrovert n knowledgable in many spheres of life. Obviously all because of staff of CW team. Staff is responsible n keep us updated child n school through mails and even personal talks. I cannot speak to the Daycare aspect of this facility BUT My 4 yr attends part time preschool at Creative World. The preschool is a little pricey but its been great for us. My daughter really enjoys going to school here and loves her teachers. She has learned a lot in the time that she has been there and I can clearly notice her educational improvements. The office staff is respectful and friendly.
