The school is severely understaffed, and therefore, little to no learning is taking place. Classes are often combined during learning time because there are simply not enough teachers to keep the kids separated. I dont mind if 3s, 4s and 5s are combined during center time because it provides opportunity for interaction during play. However, they are often combined during circle time. How are the needs of the 5 year old, being met when grouped with 3 year old children! The cost is relatively low, and because of this, I kept my child enrolled for 5 months. But as time progressed, I saw more and more things that displeased me until it was necessary to remove my child. There were several days that my child would come home starving and say lunch was really late or they werent given two snacks, like they are supposed to. When I inquired about this more, I found out that if a teacher calls in sick, the cook is then moved to the classroom to cover. How is the cook qualified to teach? Lastly, I thought the director was quite snotty and very arrogant. She talked in a demeaning manner to not only her staff, but parents as well. If you are looking for a day care or learning center, there are plenty in the area that are much much better. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to any parent.
