Growing up on Chicagos south side Im spoiled for good Italian and Mexican food. I would have to say this place is very average, at least from what we tried, which was pepperoni pizza, breaded steak sandwich, and a chicken salad with a grilled seafood appetizer. The prices do not reflect the quality of the food, for what is basically a cafeteria you pay for what should be a nice sit down restaurant with table service. The appetizer was brought out well after we received our entrees. I commented to the employee that usually the appetizers come out first and he kind laughed and walked away.

(Disclosure: We ordered out for delivery from this place- did not dine in, cannot speak to the restaurant experience) We ordered 3 different entrees (pork chop, steak, and grilled chicken salad), 2 soups, and a bruchetta app. Everything was soggy- everything. The meat was dry, tasteless, aged ( in the wrong way). Not a fan. We dont frequent Bur Ridge but when we do we visit Capri the restaurant which I thought was "Capri Express" turns out it is two totally different places with different chefs/ kitchens etc.

My husband and I ordered this delivered for our anniversary. Now on our top 5 of worst meals ever. Calimari was soggy. Bread was dry. Lasagna tasted like cheese had gone bad. And shrimp linguine was bland and shrimp werent de-tailed?!? Very disappointing start to our romantic Chicago weekend. Should have had pizza delivered.

Phil and his team do a fantastic job with customer service! Food is absolutely delicious and ALWAYS served warm! Capri Express NEVER disappoints. My family and friends all love to eat and order from Capri Express! Keep up the good work guys! Highly recommend Capri Express! :)

Cater every year for Christmas for past three years. Recently ordered a lunchon for the office and everyone was pleased. We live in Oak Lawn so were a little further away but they deliver so saves us a trip when we cant make it in.
