This daycare center is one of the worst I have ever visited. It should really be shut down by the City of Chicago. It looks terrible from the outside and looks like no one even took the interest to make it look presentable. This is another case of someone opening a center for revenue and not for the childrens education. The children have no place to play outside and I have seen them walking over three long city blocks to the neighborhood park. The staff seem to be careless and rude and have no passion for the kids. I live in the area and would NEVER send my children there. This place should be closed!

Since 2011 my children have been in this daycare. Now i have 2 yr old twins there, over the years of care for my babies they did a excellent job. You can thank the owner for her selective detail for qualified people to care for these children. The staff are very caring & attentive to the kids. I am waiting on my 1yr old to turn of age cause she going. All and all this was my 1st experience with daycare centers but i love this one. Chatell, Rashad, Tisha, Ashley, Brittany, Ms. Brittany & they wouldnt be around without Ms. Tammy. First Step Learning will have your child prepared to enjoy learning

im truly sorry you feel this way. But as the director i can tell you that we care and love our children. we provide excellent serves to our friends and family. we have a nice big play area on the side of our building where its fun and safe for the children.
