TL;DR: They broke my left rear taillight and refused to pay for the damage. I was told the owner would call me but they never did. I would highly recommend you go to a different place that actually will take care of your car and it’s customers. I would recommend finding a different place to take care of your car. Up until my most recent visit, this was my goto place for washing and detailing my car. During that visit, I brought my car in to get it detailed because I was getting it ready to sell. I had taken several pictures of it the week before but I wanted to get the inside detailed in preparation for a potential buyer. I picked up the car at the end of the day and drove it home a few miles to my garage. I don’t drive my car much so it sat for about a week before I needed to get something out of the trunk and I noticed that the left rear taillight had a rubber piece missing that secured it to the car. I checked the pictures that I had taken right before taking it into get it detailed and sure enough, the pictures were there. I called River West the next day, explained the circumstances, and they told me to bring it in so they could see. After speaking with several employees who kept telling me the “it was damaged when it came in”, they finally told me to come back and talk with Jose. I brought the car back in the next day to speak with Jose and he again told me that “it was was damaged when it came in”. I had already ordered a replacement taillight for $55 dollars on eBay and showed it to Jose asking if they could pay for that. He refused and said he needed to speak with the owner. I have now called several times asking for any kind of resolution and they given me the run around every time. I would highly recommend you go to a place that actually will take care of your car and it’s customers.

Very good location. Pricing is comparable to other car washes in the area. They did a good job for the most part. The only problem with this place is that there isnt a seating area for customers: you are breathing all the chemicals and exhaust from the cars that come in, hearing all the noise from the vacuum/sprayers, and freezing every time they open the door for another car. If you dont mind this, youll be fine.

Not terrible for the price, and they were friendly enough and fast, but they were completely dead and there were a ton of missed details. Nothing too major, but a ton of little places that were no cleaner than before. Personally, Id prefer to spend a bit more at somewhere like River North Hand Car Wash. Thats what Ill be doing in the future, anyway. You get what you pay for.

This place is now my "Go-to" for car washes. They do an excellent job without leaving streaks or stains. They also informed me about all the bad things the prior car wash place I used to go to did to my car. I highly recommend this place especially if you feel or know that your current car wash place is not doing a good job.

First time visiting River West Hand Car Wash and they are the best. The exterior of the car is spotless, interior was vacuumed and cleaned, floor mats washed and they even sucked the water out of the space between the side mirrors to ensure no drips. Highly suggest taking your car here.

Very fast yet thorough service. real hand wash. They dont overuse the high power water guns and really clean the inside windows. Only negative is they dont have under carriage washer. Well worth the visit.
