My one and only lock go-to. Sounds dumb, right? You shouldnt be seeing these guys more than once every few years, but if want to secure your house, this is the place. Ive used them at two different condos for double deadbolt installations (into metal frames no less) and theyve been great. Very fast at what they do, can answer nearly every imaginable question, and the pricing is up front and fair - no surprises.

I recently moved. I went to get a copy of my key made 3 times. I was told by all 3 places that the only place that would probably be able to make this copy was the Security Shop (two of the prior stores simply referred to it as 2951 N Clark). Sure enough, they had it. If you need an obscure key made in Chicago, dont waste your time going anywhere else.

8/29/09: Our condo building recently had TSS come out to re-key several locks and install a few new ones. The TSS team created a clear and concise proposal of work, arrived perfectly on time and completed the work in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend this shop for your future security needs.

I had a great experience at Security Shop. I had to have a "no duplicate" key copied and they were quick, professional and did a great job. Bruce took care of me and he assured me that if they didnt fit, to come back, but they work great. Highly recommend them!

Quick, professional service with skilled employees. The car key they cut was initially a little tight in the lock, and they came outside to the car to fix the problem. A couple quick swipes with a file, and the new key works perfectly. Very pleased.
