Honestly the worse employment agency Ive ever had the dissatisfaction of dealing with. The initial application process and testing was great and thats where it ended. The job I applied for that brought me too their office, was always being sold to me as "were presenting you to them" but in the meantime how about this position thats $4-$5 lower than what we got you in the office for in the first place? Seriously. Than when you call to speak too a recruiter (Mallory, Mariah) theyre always on the phone and NEVER return your call in a timely matter if at all! Believe me Im still waiting for a call back from 2 weeks ago. Also I was sent a text from Mariah who offered me a position asking if Id be interested in a job? I responded "yes" as soon as I received the text. Called her back immediately and left her message stating "yes" that I want the job. And on top of it I left a message at the Crystal Lake office with the receptionist that Ill take the job! All three actions were performed in 90 seconds of receiving Mariahs text. The receptionist told me Mariah would call me shortly. Never got a call. Never received a text. Nothing. But the next day when I called and finally spoke with Mariah she informed me the postion was gone. But we have this job making alot less are you interested? If you like bait and switch tactics and no call backs or recruiters that DONT read your resume then this is the place for you! When all was said and done and I emailed them a blistering email the supervisor finally called me back! 4 days after my initial call! This place is joke! Never dealt with so many airheads in my life! Go to their office and youll swear youre at a freaking fashion show! Lame!

Let me start by saying I am a real person and the events I describe are true and factual. Contact me on Facebook if there are any doubts. That being said, I was out of work, bills pilling up, landlord banging on the door etc..etc... I dealt with 2 other temp agencies that were horrible. I half expected the same from Express due to my experiences but I was desperate so I went in to see them. It was just the opposite! They were extremely professional and organized. Paper work and testing were streamed lined and relatively fast. The young women I dealt with, were so help and understanding of my impending needs. The knowledge they displayed was reassuring. My professional background was not an issue for them, they had all types of immediate work available. After some convincing from them I took a job with a local manufacturing company. A business I had never been involved in before. After starting at the bottom, within 3 months I got my first promotion and was hired-on from temp status with a significant raise in pay. In less than a year, after upper management learned of my background and how I came to be their employee I received another promotion, from the production floor to the administrative front offices with quite a raise in pay. I thank you express, it may take some time but I am well on my way to winning my life back. THANK YOU EXPRESS. Ill be your spokes person.

I went to this company a few years ago...back in 2008. This was my 1st time going to a Employment Agency and I expected good results. The Economy did fall out at the time but I needed extra work because construction was slow. So I get in, everyone seemed nice but I found out it was all a cruel put on. I was immediately given a sweet packing job witch was A FILL IN JOB FOR 1 DAY! After that job ended the company I worked for wanted me back the next Sunday. The job ended 3 days and then 2 weeks later of not getting employment from them I get a call back from them and Express said "You are wanted for such and such again. I showed up, worked again for such and such and again tossed clear out the door. I call them and tried to get employment and they were asking me without ever reviewing my skills that "Am I good with Power Tools. I said "No but Im willing to learn. Sense I gave them that answer they never called me back sense. Only go to this company as a last option to get employment. They are good at giving you one day jobs if you need it. lol

I recently went here as well and experienced exactly the same "rush" situation. Then as I was put in an area to test, the computer kept acting up and wouldnt allow me to go further without their help. By the second time I had asked for assistance, the person assisting me from the front desk was extremely rude and insisted that I had done something wrong. She also treated me like I was incompetent and dismissed me to take an incoming call. When the original person I met with came back to help, she stated she would email me the testing so I could do it at home. Within a few days, I notified her that I hadnt received it and she told me she sent it and it could be in my trash but she would send again. I never received either and am extremely computer literate. It was not in my trash folder nor was it in my spam folder. I have never felt so dismissed in my time of need as I did with Express. I would highly recommend NOT using this company.

It shouldnt matter if somebody has experience or not you guys are a temp agency your job is supposed to help people no matter what your job is to help people you get paid to help people people need experience thats what you guys are there for so you guys need to help them to get a job fyi I hope you can actually help the people that needs jobs because Ive been through a lot of temp agencies and they have hired me with no experience no GED no high school graduate anything and you guys are saying you need a reference you dont need anything you just need to give somebody a chance stop judging people on what they can and cant do what someone says I can give someone the best reference in the whole world doesnt mean Im correct doesnt mean theyre going to get the best job that just give that person a fighting chance how about you guys be the reference and give that person a fighting chance

Express Employment Professionals has been fairly good to me. The front desk staff is exceptionally professional and courteous, and I would say the same of my current point of contact at Express. When I brought it to their attention that I hadnt received any work for a week, they immediately found an assignment for me. Expect the initial interview, testing, and paperwork to take 3 hours. After I lost out on a day of work due to mix-up with one of their clients the branch manager, Lori, did right by me by calling and apologizing for that mishandling, and was able to place me right away into a one-day assignment. The coordinators seem to be constantly busy. In our conversation, Lori said they were hiring additional staff to handle the workload.

Absolutely would not recommend this Express Employment location! A few weeks ago I had tried several times to contact not just one but two recruiters about jobs I was interested in at this location and have not heard anything from neither of them despite the receptionist telling me I would hear back from them. Very unprofessional! If the job is no longer available, at least tell me or ask me to come in for an interview to dicuss other possibilities! Youre better off trying the Libertyville location or just going to Aerotek, where at least someone will contact you and not leave you hanging!
