Now let me just say this, the people at this agency were extremely helpful and professional. The atmosphere was very pleasant to be in. I get in there all dressed up wearing the appropriate interview clothes. Excited that I might get a job. I sit in a room with 3 other individuals to listen to what jobs are hiring and I write down a job I wanted like the speaker told me to. After the interview, I am told that I will able to begin to work immediately after this weekend! I was so so happy! Ive been jobless for almost 3 years! The next day I get a call saying I am "actually NOT going to be working as someone took my place (better qualified I guess) HOW IS THIS PROFESSIONAL? Why would you tell someone you are hired and will be expected on Monday and then have them turn around and be told, "Oh yeah, you arent actually hired. Want us to find you a different job?" No. Because the same thing will happen again. Reading a lot of these comments confirms it. I dont want to do business with these people. I know the same thing will happen. I dont know how you resign from temp agencies like this but I really want to. Seems like very shady business. This is a red flag for me and the many negative reviews of this place makes me regret signing up with this place. I found out about them through some DHS office that had a job fair and this was one of the companies. I would never do business with these people again. No wonder they have such a low rating! I really appreciate all the comments that have been made on here about this agency. Very helpful. I feel like if I stayed longer there some of the comments would happen to me. Ive been spared. Stay away from this agency at all cost!!!

The mostly kind staff hardly offsets the negatives. Never did I go to a position and actually do what I was told I would be doing. At one point I was told I would be gluing parts together and what the actual job was, was using an old CNC machine to make the parts. I have no experience or qualifications to use a CNC machine and proper safety equipment was never issued, nor was I instructed on the safe use of industrial power tools or CNC. Resulting in many cuts, bruises, and destroyed clothing. Pay also rarely equalled what I would be told during briefing. One position for example was supposed to pay 10 dollars an hour. I received 8.25. When my time with hirelevel ended, it was due to me not feeling safe in the place of work due to the actions of co-workers and I left the job when on site supervisors refused to speak to me. I called hirelevel and informed them and was told it was okay theyd give me more work. After awhile with no new assignments I decided to call and see what was up. I was put on a no call list for being a "No call no show" to the position which I had called to complain about and was told it was okay to leave. Use this company if you want, it is easy to get placed, but use caution and definitely look for permanent and preferable work while taking assignments. This is not something for anyone looking for a full time position to raise a family or actually earn a consistent living on, as on top of what Ive said above, the jobs also end spontaneously and are hardly ever consistent.

This company location is the sole reason I will NEVER in my life have another staffing company to staff me anywhere in US. I worked the Target assignment and later decided it was definitely not for me as I was persuaded by a Recruiter to work until a job match came in. I followed the protocol at advising the appropriate staff members and the company but somehow I was reported a "no show" and they accused me of working at another location that was unassigned to me. I turned in my badge and spoke with the correct Recruiter, so why nothing was documented correctly. So now Im put on their "DNC" list. They never matched me with my experience and education anyways. Seems they were always staffing African Americans and Hispanics at warehouses throughout Illinois. Also, they dont do direct deposit and often they were not prompt on payroll payments and accuracy. Think about it, Extra Help, the name alone is degrading you as an employee. Also, pay attention to these reviews. "Actions speak louder than words". Today is 8/24/2016 and Extra Help commented only (1) review whom apparently is the client. Not one apology or comment to their employee reviews. Now thats sad and shows they care about the client only verses their staff. Again, "actions speak louder than words". Hopefully this new name (HireLevel) will represent "Change" within the company sooner than later..... smh

As an employee I am not a fan. To access your payroll check stubs the employee has to go on-line, work through a difficult access process. All other companies that have paid me previously through direct deposit mailed me my stub. It obvious they are just trying to save their time and their money. Couldnt they at least forward them via e-mail, so that one could have access instantly. I was paid bi-monthly, and one pay period they incorrectly deposited another persons payroll in with mine, so I had to wait 3 days for the monies to be corrected. I was patient and understood that people make mistakes. Their mistake caused 2 people to wait on payroll, delay their bills etc.I have now misplaced my W-2 , and I called to ask for a new one. They want to charge me $ 25.00- cashiers check only for a replacement. My employer no longer uses their services. Luckily, I have found the information I needed to file my taxes, and I am filing a form for lost-never receive W-2, to avoid them profiting off my mistake.

Hire Level has been extremely helpful in finding the correct personnel for our hiring needs. Not only do they screen potential prospects to ensure the person will be a great fit but they also safeguard against someone who may not be a good fit. However, they always give us the option as to whether or not to perform an interview. Lindsey B. has done an amazing job of finding the right person for us, screening for background, and following up to make sure everything is going as planned. I would highly recommend Hire Level and their staff for the hiring of personnel. To Lindsey, Hire Level, and the staff - thanks for making my job so easy!

Got called for a "First Interview" for a position I applied for, through them, through Indeed. Was noted in the phone call that it was about the single job I applied for. Once I got there, they made no mention of the job I applied for at all, and proceeded to try and sign me up for their temp agency. The job wasnt even a temp, it was supposed to be part time leading to full time, and made no mention of temp. No thank you, good waste of my time and a bait-and-switch. Bad bad company!

Would have loved to been given the right time I was supposed to show up for my interview but instead the not so bright secretary told me the wrong time!!! So now Im barred from getting a njob through them? Thats ridiculous, I didnt get an email or phone call or anything that confirmed my interview....Thanks extra help for no help!
