Do not, under any circumstances whatsoever, go to this salon. Ever. I cannot stress this enough. I have never in my entire life been so mistreated as a customer. Erica Davis (the owner of the Erica Davis Salon) unprofessionalism, rudeness, and fraudulent conduct is abhorrent. In my entire life, I have never dealt with a business owner who conducts business in this fashion or treats their customers this way. After leaving her salon 160 dollars later with orange hair and what was supposed to be an ombre, but instead started three inches from my roots and was not blended at all, but instead was a straight line around my entire head, and on every single layer down to my scalp, I was told that it could be fixed…for an additional 60 dollars. I had to wear it in a ponytail for nearly a week while I waited to get fixed. I know what a lot of people would have done, they would have originally not paid the money and left. Erica was not in that day, and I didn’t want to cause a scene. Instead, I figured i would speak with Erica, let her know what happened, and tell her that I had to go to another salon and pay an additional 140 dollars to have my hair fixed. To be clear, the hairstylist who fixed my hair told me she’d never had to fix such a terrible job in her career. After I spoke with Ms. Davis about what happened, she told me they don’t give refunds. So if you want brown hair, and it comes out orange, you are left with no other option but to create a scene, refuse to pay, and embarrass the hair stylist in front of her peers and coworkers. Erica, however, did tell me she would furnish the refund. After i didn’t receive the refund I called her and she told me the bank called her and told her they released the funds. After another week passed without the refund, I tried calling. Erica wasn’t in, or she was busy, or she was with a client, or she couldn’t come to the phone. I tried calling nearly every day for a month to get a hold of Ms. Davis and was completely stonewalled. Her receptionist and other members of the salon would not let me speak with her. The unprofessionalism Ms. Davis showed, and her childish behavior is absolutely shocking. As an owner, and an adult, you should stand behind the work of your business and live up to your word. Instead, I was given the run around, lied to, and I am now out 300 dollars because I have a conscience and wanted to speak with the owner in private, instead of embarrassing the hairstylist and refusing to pay. I’ve read many reviews for places and thought, well that was just one bad experience, it should be fine. And i would go to that place despite the reviews. Instead, I ask you, based on principle, as well as the fact that if your hair gets messed up, you’ll have to completely refuse to pay because you’ll never see your money again, to go to any other salon but the Erica Davis Salon. The unprofessionalism of Ms. Davis and the mistreatment of the clients makes me absolutely astonished that the salon is even still in business. If you don’t know how to run or own a business the solution is incredibly simple. Don’t own one. I assure you, I have been to dozens of salons over the years, have worked in customer service, I’ve worked as a waitress, I’m in law school and I work for a law firm…and I’ve never dealt with someone like Ms. Davis before. I’ve told dozens of people about my experience here, some of whom have considered buying groupons from there, and have assured me my experience has convinced them to find a new place. So go anywhere. Anywhere but here.

Worst experience ever. I saw them at the bridal expo and made an appointment for hair and makeup for my engagement party. Not only did they just use walgreens eyelashes but used the worst glue you could possibly use. It burns when they put it on and I have had these lashes on for over two weeks and cannot get them off. I have pulled out 21 eyelashes in one eye and the rest are still remaining. I have gone to two professional salons and no one can get them off. I called management who didnt care, then I spoke to the owner Erica who did not care as well. And sounded so put out by my phone. She was willing to give me my WHOLE ten dollars back but who not nice or apologetic and willing to do much for me. My eyelashes are priceless and she could care less. I am disgusted by her and her staff. DONT GO THERE! especially for eyelashes!

I prepped my hair before my first appointment so my hair would be ready for a spiral perm before Easter, they permed it traditionally (I didnt care about that mistake, but then it didnt even add curl to my hair at all. I made another appointment to see if they could style the curl (with a benefit of doubt) They couldnt bring the curl out (even used a straightened style because it was so bad). They charged me for the style, and accused me of shampooing it the day after I got the perm (Ive gotten several perms and know better than that). They said the supervisor said I would have to pay $35 to fix their perm mistake. The way they handled the issue was horrible. I am very lenient, and felt taken advantage of.

I have been going to Erica Davis Salon for close to 7 years now. This is the first salon that I have stayed with this long and have no plans on leaving. They are wonderful! Staff is very professional and friendly, prices are fair and reasonable, and most importantly their services are amazing. I have never left this salon disappointed and will continue to go there. I now have my two daughters and my niece enjoying the quality of their services and will be bringing my daughter in April, the day of her senior prom. This salon, and all its members can be trusted to provide customers with a wonderful experience. 5 stars all the way!!!

I come to this salon for my keratin treatments and I absolutely LOVE them. I see Alyssa every few months for it and she does an amazing job. The staff is so friendly and professional, and they stand by their work and ensure thier clients satisfaction. Once I got a treatment here that I wasnt that happy with and told Alyssa. Erika and Alyssa redid a different keratin treatment for me at no cost which shows how much they care for thier clients happiness. I cannot WAIT to book my appointment for my keratin here next week!!

Awful salon. Rude staff who think you need their approval about your lifestyle choices if you didnt follow the same career path as them. So, basically youre looked down upon if you went to college when youre only there for getting something done like an eyebrow wax not to have your life story judged. Like other people have said, it makes you feel stupid for paying for their services when they make you feel like utter garbage in their eyes. Not worth your money, time, well-being in my opinion.

Staff was friendly . They constantly were trying to sell me everything in the salon when I went for my trial. The day of they were rushing, my hair looked different from the trial then it did the day of the wedding. My curls fell out before they even left. overall wasnt impressed at all except for the airbrush makeup. Very expensive and the girl who books the wedding parties was unorganized and left me 5 voicemails before I booked looking for a deposit.
