I dont enjoy writing bad reviews for business but I feel this is necessary. I was chosen as a hair extension model for a young woman who is graduating from Paul Mitchell School and beginning her employment at this salon. I was ecstatic because I am a nursing student and have a 4 month old so I needed the R&R. I also didnt have a lot of money to spend but I was able to get a huge discount. I was told by the Owner, Meghan, that I was receiving the ITIP extensions. I specifically asked because I didnt want any other kind put in my hair. I get to my appt 10 minutes early and sit down to begin....low and behold the extensions that were being put in were WEFTS. I did a double take but I was already there and the girl said they are just as good as ITIPS, they just dont last as long. Whatever, proceed -- while putting them in, Meghan was showing her better techniques to get the hair close to my head so it was nice and tight..hours later, extensions and color is done. The owner said that because I was a model I can get the extensions fixed and color re-done for free if it was needed... A week later my extensions were a mess. They were lumpy, the beads were coming out, etc. I was very careful brushing and washing them so I know it wasnt a mistake I had made. I called the salon to make an appt and explained the situation. They booked me for a few days later and I went in expecting to get it all straightened out. WELL - to start I had color put on again because mine had faded, but the girl who put the color on my hair isnt even a licensed cosmetologist...she works the front desk and is going to school for BUSINESS. Uhm wtf? Then she brings me to the chair and said, "YOU CAN DRY YOUR HAIR AND YOUR STYLIST WILL BE OVER" Uhmmm I paid enough money, why isnt someone drying my hair for me? Then this is just the point that threw me over the edge, the stylist started playing with my hair asking what needed to be fixed..uhm, she clearly didnt pay attention because you could physically see it. She then proceeds to explain that she has never had experience with those "types" of extensions before. Why is someone touching my hair with no experience or training on the extensions? I was done. I told her to remove them and I would speak with the Owner to figure something out because I spent a lot of time and money. They told me not to reach out to her myself because she was on leave so they were supposed to give me a call within a few days... TWO WEEKS LATER-I message the Owner finally because I heard nothing from them. I told her everything and asked if there was something else I could do- she said unfortunately since I was an extension model the best she could do was put them back in... Yeah, I wont be coming here anymore, or recommending it to friends/family.

I live in the area and I recently went in for a blow dry style . I have been looking for a great stylist for some time. My hair is very curly and frizzy. My stylist was Santina, she is amazing!! She used an organic shampoo that smelled excellent. And she blow dried my hair straight, no more frizz! I highly recommend her!! Defiantly coming back!
