I dont get all the negative reviews of this place. It makes me think that someones just trying to lower their rating and give them a bad reputation. Ive been going to this fitness center for 5 years now, working out about 3 times/week. It is not a luxury fitness center, nor is it one of those intimidating body builder places. Its a practical workout place with more amenities than many such places. (Pool, whirlpool, sauna, childcare, basketball court, several racquetball courts.) I personally prefer a running track to treadmills, so I do miss that here. There is no "blast of heat." In five years, Ive only found the workout room uncomfortably warm maybe three times. I have found the locker room to occasionally be warmer more often than that (usually in winter). The locker rooms are clean, and Ive never smelled mustiness. They are, however, locker rooms. Smells happen sometimes when people sweat. Ive never found it bad and seldom even noticeable. I have never used the trainers here, so cant speak to how good they are. I have noticed over the years that new trainers rotate in and out of the facility pretty regularly, whatever that may imply. I have found the executive staff to be a little shady-feeling sometimes (read, "not always"), but Ive found thats normal with fitness center staff. The front desk staff have always been friendly and helpful. I initially chose this fitness center because it was close to where I live, but Ive never regretted my choice. Dont be afraid to go there or put off by the weird negative reviews. Its a good fitness center.

This gym is way too warm and muggy inside. Especially by the cardio machines, just where one most needs it to be cool. People sweat before they even work out. You feel a blast of heat as you walk into the workout area. It is way too hot, and there is no air circulation. I spoke with other members, and they say it gets even worse in summer. I asked the management if they could make it cooler, or even add some fans, and they said they cannot do anything, its all controlled by Coporate. I called the corporate offices, and they laughed and said theres no such thing, and that they would contact the club management. Then management says they dont know anything about it, and never got any such information or contact. Noone wants to do anything about it, everyone blames everyone else, and in the meantime its kept suffocatingly hot and stuffy. A friend of mine in CA said her club is the same way, and we both will quit because of it. Why they cant do something as simple as make it cooler and/or add some fans is beyond me, but its a shame that a simple thing like that never gets handled. Ive been to other gyms, this by far is way worse, temperature wise. It doesnt matter what the weather is outside, it doesnt matter what time of day - its always too hot. I would never recommend this club. You cant work out in those conditions.

Do not sign up for personal training through this facility. They will tell you they have a 3 day cancellation period but only if you go on a day and during a time that the exact person who runs the department is there. Otherwise it will be a fight to cancel the program. You may need to even go through the Better Business Bureau in order to get it resolved. This was even though I said there was a high probability I would cancel. Went in on the 2nd day but too close to close for anyone to be there, emailed their corporate office, and went in on the third day to cancel but was told I had to come back on the 4th day and could get it cancelled. They tried to tell me that it was too late to cancel and that because I didnt come in on their convenient schedule that I was going to be stuck with it. TOTAL SCAM!!!!!! The person who could cancel was called and was made aware that I wanted to cancel on the third day but then tried to tell me that it was too late! I asked to speak to the manager of the club and was told that he was the person I needed to talk too. AGAIN HE LIED!!!!! I spoke to the manager of the club and got this cancelled. My next step would have been with the Better Business Bureau. Complaint has been put on their website as well.

I have been going there for a month and so far my biggest complaint would be the bathrooms. I feel they could use a face lift. The locker room is really nice and then you get to the shower are and bathroom and it is pretty dated looking. Other than that the gym is huge. And plenty of machines even during the busiest time. Staff is great. Very pleasant to work with. I did schedule with a personal trainer and when I showed up he was not there. I started asking staff and they told me the trainer quit. That was a little off putting. Surprised no one would call to tell someone "hey valued member your appt for today may not happen cause the trainer quit." I was required to provide 12 hours notice but it seemed they had no obligation. That was a little unsettling. The reviews about the gym smelling...it is a gym and some times there are sweaty people there but there are no weird or unnatural smells there. And the review about it not being clean. No idea where that comes from. I guess at my last gym we had squirter bottles so we could wipe down the machines after we used them. I have not really seen a means to do anything like that at this place. I am just very careful and wash my hands before and after I work out.

very upset with the services they were taking money away from my card and my dads for my membership wen my father didnt even authorized it didnt even know how to explain the memberships and what the payments will be the sales manager Mohammed S horrible doesnt let you explain wats going on , also wen before we wanted to see what was going with our payments he told me and my mom that that had nothing to do with them to call corporation also wen we had gone again and talked to the manager for wat was going on he came up and said he knew wat was going on but yet wen we confronted him from telling us to call corporation he wanted to acted like he didnt know when previously he had told the manager he knew wat was going on very up set because i had only been there for 1 month and they took exactly $149.00 and and took from my dads card $60.00 i went to asked for my money back and they had told me that they had refund it wen i showed them my statement that nothing was return they said that wasnt there problem so who do i talked to to get my money back if they dont know . very mad and upset dont recommend it at all

I have now been a member here twice. First time I left because it was getting to a point where people were standing around talking rather then working out, trying to work around those people began to be a headache. After a couple years I decided to give it another try as my other gym closed down. Weekly I was trying to be sold on something. I brought my boyfriend in to a guest visit we were debating adding him. That day just like many others over half the weights we not re-racked, took us more time to find weights then work out. When the manager Oscar called to follow up and I told him I was disappointed when I brought him in. When I stated they should spend more cleaning up the gym rather then reselling I received the biggest attitude "we have over 2000 members a day come in". When I asked for the manager, he stated he was it. When I asked who his boss was all he said was Egg bal, no last name. So we have a manager who doesnt care to keep his gym clean to keep the members happy or even care to hear what they have to say, and doesnt know the chain of command. Beyond disappointed.
