NEVER ship a package from this place. I shipped a chromebook from here to Asus for repair. They packaged it, and it was damaged in transport. Needless to say, Asus would not cover the damages. I filed a claim on Oct 3. It is Oct 17th and I cant begin to describe the run around Im getting. I was told the claim was approved, the check was mailed but it was mailed to the Office Max Corporate Office in Florida and I might get it in 6 to 8 weeks, maybe, Then I was told by the Office manager that the damage was not their fault even though they packaged and transported it. So, I dont think Im going to see the claims check. So Ive lost the cost of the chromebook which was $250.00 and Ive lost the $100.00 damage claim. Im done with Office max. Im done with Fedex. I will make it my mission to tell anyone who will listen how I was stiffed by Office Max/Fedex. Update: On 18 Oct, 2016 I spoke to the Office Max Store Manager. I explained to him the situation. He told me that he had no knowledge of the problem with my claim but said hed look into it and call me on the 20th. The 20th came and went with no call; Friday I called him . Basically, he offered to pay me out of petty cash. Of course, I accepted so I beat feet over to the Office and was given $100.00. The store manager was very apologetic about the damage and the hoops I had to go through to receive the claim money. While I do appreciate the eventual resolution of the matter, my rating will remain the same because of the following: The employee who packaged the chromebook did a bad job. Fedex damaged the chromebook. OfficeMax fedex manager had no knowledge of how to process a damage claim nor did he seem to want to process the claim. Fedex, while they processed the claim, sent the payment to OfficeMax corporate office, not to the person who shipped the package leaving that person to have to deal with officemax to the the claim check. This process is a complete customer service failure all around.

So I called officemax to ask for their printing prices and what their specific email was, in order to send my document. To put me on hold for at least ten minutes before I had to hang up and re-call. They didnt answer the phone and sounded like they picked up the phone and hung up. So I decided to just go there personally and just have them make print it from my flashdrive. I get there, and everyone is on their cell phone, which is probably why they couldnt answer the phone >=[ I get to the impress section and request for 500 prints from a document on my flashdrive. The girl said the printers where busy and I had to come back the next day and pick my copies. I left my cell number and my name. 2 days go by, and I received no phone call. I went back and it seemed they hadnt recall taking my flashdrive. After 30 minutes of them showing me flashdrives asking me "is this yours" they finally found it in the managers office. They told me I can come back later to pick up the copies. The hell I aint!!! Taking my business to staples.

I bought a Toshiba Satellite L665-s5083 Computer with a warranty. The 1st computer had a corrupt hard drive as soon as I booted up. It was impossible working with the manager, seems that he wasnt interested in anything that I had to say. Told me I had to send it back to Toshiba. Bought a warranty that said that I could take it to the store and they would give me a loaner computer. Never happened. The second computer had buttons falling off the computer in the 1st week. One time I went into the store to refill ink cartridges, it took 3 minutes for someone to see that I was there. Then when I brought it back because it was not working I got attitude from the person at the service desk. Im not surprised that Office Max is closing stores. The best thing that can happen is that they go away. Staples Rocks!!!!!

Useless employees. I just wanted to print some return address labels. Not an overly complicated request. I called to ask if the file had to be in any format, had to call back ten minutes later because the printing woman was "on the phone". When I finally did talk to her, she told me they dont print on address labels anymore because they dont always line up in the printer. I was more than willing to change my format or do anything to get these printed. She refused. ME: "So theres nothing you can do for me??" HER: "Nope."... Am I going to shop at Office Max ever again??? Nope. Loyal Office Depot shopper created via horrible service from Office Max.

This particular location is especially special. The staff is comprised of intelligent adults who actually understand business and the needs of businesspeople. Pricing and service is perfect. Cameron in the print dept knows his stuff and always delivers.

Did not even know they were located there. The online locator shows the closest to my work was in Elgin or on golf road. However the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I went here to purchase a three pack of retractable sharpie pens. They have a great selection of sharpies and pens but i found them cheaper elsewhere.
