I gave 1 star for Ms Janine, because she always seemed nice to the kids... But, overall, the staff at the center are cold, and dont even "try to force" a greeting or a smile. They are all about money!! You pay a fortune and still need to provide snacks, breakfast, milk, etc.... But the last drop was really when I SAW and HEARD a teacher on the 2 years old class deny feeding my son breakfast (with the cereal that I brought) and, in front of me, said to another 2 year old boy that he had 40 seconds to finish his breakfast... This "teacher" was always grumpy along with the other teacher in class... My son, who is always very social, was scared to go near them... I gave them 2 weeks notice and in the next day, my son had scratches in his arm!!! Then I understood why they make you pay the First and last week. This teacher was on 2 years old class, but the director said that all teachers works at all classes as needed... So, I dont think theres any class at this school that would be safe for your child. I would not recommend it, and regret putting my son there!! Now he is in a much more fun, safe and happy place!!! Stay away!!

Young Scholars is an amazing place. My son has been coming to Young Scholars, and that has made such a huge impact on his life! Young Scholars helped him prepare for school, and taught him how to be a friend. He build social skills that he didnt have coming into school, and they prepared him for kindergarten and the whole new world he was about to enter. Young Scholars is like a family. The staff operates together as a whole, and not only does each classroom work effectively on its own, but staff throughout the center work together to make sure that kids are getting the best possible care. Miss Kristen and Miss Nicole work hard as directors, and not only make children feel welcome every day, but parents as well. They greet parents by first names because they know and care about the families that come through the door everyday, and make you feel like a part of the Young Scholars family. Miss Kora has created a beautiful family, and I couldnt imagine a better place to bring my son!

This is a wonderful place full of growing and learning. Our son has been in Franklin Room for 6 months, and his love for learning has grown exponentially during that time. After being diagnosed with a developmental delay and a Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), we wanted to find a daycare that would understand his differences and create a learning environment where he felt excepted and comfortable. He loves Ms. Caitlin, Ms. Allison, and Ms. Britney. They continue to take the time to work with us to provide our son with the most least restrictive learning environment he could have in a daycare setting. Ms. Chrys, their Director of Curriculum, also has a special place in our sons heart as someone who will always take extra time to make a calmer place in his otherwise frustrating world. Thank you Kora for giving our children such a memorable childhood.

Not only has Young Scholars been a GREAT work environment for me. I have seen both my girls grow and Develop new friendships and life long social skills. When my 3yr old started at Young Scholars she was a very shy and timid girl. She now has turned into a little social butterfly and has no problem walking into new situations and making new friends. I also LOVE seeing the new things my 3yr old is learning in the preschool curriculum. And my 18mo old is developing new language everyday after having a small delay and getting back on track! I love seeing all her little art projects that she does and hearing about her fun filled days! I love that the staff gives my children love and affection all day as well. I cant speak my praises enough about Young Scholars and how they are helping my girls grow into smart little people!

I was very worried about sending my son to daycare. He had not had much interaction with children his own age, and when he did, he did not get along with kids with sharing or even playing well. After a week of starting at Young Scholars, he was sharing, talking more and interacting with other children in a way that I could never have helped him with on my own. The staff is wonderful and now that he is communicating more, he loves to talk about his teachers when he comes home and his new friends. The staff is also helping my son with potty training, which is difficult in itself. He has been doing so well and it is making it soooo much easier to encourage him at home. I have nothing but good things to say about Young Scholars and would suggest everyone to send their children here!

Young Scholars has been a wonderful blessing in our familys life for the 6 years our son has gone there. We have never once worried about his well being and the entire staff always has the childrens best interests at heart. He is now a school aged child that attends the before and after school program and enjoys his time there with his friends and the opportunity to work on homework (with guidance from teachers, if necessary). They truly prepared him well for elementary school - in all areas - social, academic, emotional. Young Scholars is an amazing facility that is always looking to grow and change to meet the needs of the children and the families.

Young Scholars is the best choice you can make as a parent! My kids have been long gone since and the staff is fantastic! Most who have been there since the beginning (which is something to say about Kora and how she runs the business), but I wouldnt think twice for a recommendation. Hands down tops! Its always clean, organized, fun and most of all just a great learning experience with genuine love of children. My daughter still loves to volunteer her time there on her own and then as her internship. I believe its because of Young Scholars she wants to work with Children!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place !!

My family loves Young Scholars and the entire staff. Everyone working there including the directors and teachers are wonderful to work with and are very caring. My son began attending Young Scholars when he was just 10 weeks old and now he is just a few months shy of turning 3 and choosing Young Scholars to care for him daily has been a blessing. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that all the children are learning, growing, safe and cared for in every way. The center is organized, clean, well maintained, bright and welcoming.

Young Scholars has been nothing but amazing since my son has started a few years ago. Choosing where to send your kids is not an easy task, especially for a parent, however, the second I walked into Young Scholars, I knew that he would be very well taken care of. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful, and they take pride in what they do everyday. My son has learned so much, made so many new friends, and enjoyed every second of being here. I could not think of a better place to send my children, thank you Young Scholars!
