I have been a teacher and a parent at Montessori Academy of Chicago in the West Loop and Little Explorers Christian Montessori in Romeoville. Montessori for us is not something new, its a way of life. I have been teaching for over 6 years now and was privileged enough to watch my daughter complete the 3 year cycle and thrive academically as she transitioned into her new school during 1st Grade. I teach in the Primary 2 classroom, ages 3-6 years old at Montessori Music Center for just over a year now, I thoroughly enjoy the enthusiasm and creative nature of all the teachers, beyond that... I appreciate the inviting authentic Montessori classrooms for each age group, from infant to 6 years old, children are challenged academically (reading and writing from as little as four), more importantly how they learn. Celebrating holidays, It seems traditions are formed and learnt with joy. My favorite being, when our families joined us for a sit down Thanksgiving Feast the past November. The facility is also neat, clean, and built for children to come in ready to explore and thrive safe and happily. There are also two big indoor gyms ideal for those cold winter months to allow the development of gross motor skills and a huge backyard playground to challenge the older children with core strength. The grace and courtesy and love that the children display for each other including their teachers is very admirable, its something I appreciate as a teacher and mother. My daughter who is now 10 is looking forward to Summer Camp so she can bake, paint and grow vegetables and fruit in our backyard garden. Overall this has been a great experience interacting with the the diverse families we have and the sweet-spirited children that cross my path. Thank you Montessori and Music;) - Alisha M Bolling

Our daughter has been attending the Montessori and Music Daycare in Mundelein since August. We wanted something close to home since my wife and I head in different directions, and this was the first facility we looked at. After checking out a couple other daycare facilities, we settled on this one. We are all happy about that decision, including my daughter. One thing we noticed when we went for a couple visits in our decision making process, was that the Admin staff seemed to know all the students and parents by name. The first day of dropping off our daughter was tough, however she was happy to be there and started playing with her new friends right away. She certainly seems to enjoy going to school and is often sad to leave when we pick her up. By attending school she has had the opportunities to interact and play with many kids, and I think this has helped her development. The teachers here are great! The first person we met was Masha and she was very helpful at answering questions and seems to know everyone that comes in the door. Anna is our daughters teacher, and I cant say enough about Anna. Anna is great at caring for our little girl and she keeps us updated on what she did, ate, likes to do, things she is teaching her, etc... Our daughter also spends some time with Jessica and Olga, both of whom are great with her and certainly enjoy seeing her. You can tell that the teachers really enjoy the students and care for their well-being.

My three kids (5, 5 and 3 years) have been going to Montessori and Music center since February 2010. I am very happy I found this school for them. The owner is very nice and kind and the teachers are phenomenal. They have created extremely warm and caring atmosphere here. It’s a beautiful facility with spacious rooms, indoor and outdoor play areas, separate rooms for music and art and a spacious room used for gymnastics, dance and karate. In additional to regular Montessori materials the kids are exposed to gymnastics and music (real singing, not rhymes) every single day as part of their daily school curriculum. Their gym teacher is amazing and he teaches them not only gym but also karate and music. Kids also have the opportunity to get private piano, gymnastics, karate, dance and art classes. My kids progressed not only academically but also personally. They love to sing and they are not afraid of singing in front of others. This is the best place for me, because my kids are getting private piano, dance and gymnastic lessons during school hours without running around. I am so happy with this school and I have decided to keep my kids there for one more year for their kindergarten.

Erin is definitely entitled to her opinion, as everybody’s experience may not be the same. I as a parent know that too well, as my first two daycare experiences did not go so well. Montessori and Music is the third place that my daughter was enrolled in over a year and a half ago. My wife and I love the place, as the staff is friendly and attentive, the facilities are clean with multiple activity rooms in the building as well as a large playground outside, and most importantly my daughter is excited to go there every morning, which was not the case with the first two daycares. We have seen our daughter make leaps and bounds since she started going there. In my opinion the food is also very good, as it’s catered fresh daily, there is a good variety with multiple meals and snack times during the day, and there is an abundant breakfast selection every morning. Lastly we truly appreciate how our first daughter progressed over the last year and a half, so much that we enrolled our newborn. Again everybody’s experience may not be the same, but the least you can do is take a tour and decide for yourself.

Montessori and Music Daycare Center is excellent place for any kid. They maintain proper balance between education, physical activities and extra circulate activities. Every staff member and teacher is passionate about their roles .My son joined last year and he loves his class and his teachers. He jumps out of his bed every morning to go to daycare .his day starts with warm welcome from Ms. Masha and his teachers Ms. Koyun and Ms. Olga I can see good progress with my kid and very much impressed with his classroom teachers. Gym sessions and activities covered are excellent. We are thankful to Mr. Alex, he is multi talented. End of the day if kid is happy and talks about his day defines how the daycare is .my son looks forward to go back and cries if we pick him early from gym sessions. Best part is they greet every kid by name, they know every child by name irrespective of the class they attend. I would highly recommend Montessori and Music Daycare to anyone who is looking for best daycare for their kids.

My 5 and 6 year old have been at Montessori and Music for the last year and half. I am thrilled with how they are progressing academically, but more importantly that they really enjoy the learning opportunities. The teachers are very encouraging and supportive and provide a great environment for kids to grow and explore. I originally moved my kids to this Montessori School because the facilities are amazing and my son needed the physical activity that is available in the indoor gym, outdoor playground, indoor playground, music and art rooms to burn off his energy and focus. Their karate/gym teacher is wonderful at keeping them active, plus has taught them some great songs to sing! Both of my kids really enjoy the music that is incorporated into the day. My kids now love to sing and are not afraid to sing and talk in front of an audience. Attending this school has helped to build their confidence. Overall, it is a good school run by kind, creative staff and phenomenal teachers.
