Kids 1st is a great place for kids. I had two children attend Kids 1st as a day care, then in the afterschool and summer camp programs. Kids 1st provided a safe and healthy environment for the kids and promoted learning through the programs and activities at the center. It was a great experience for my children and for most everyone I have known who have had children there. As far as the anonymous Google User with negative reviews, it is unfortunate that anything, even complete falsehoods can be posted on the web. This is the problem with reviews on the web. What can you do? If you are looking for a place for your children, call the center and setup a visit. Take a look in person and see for yourself. Make an actual comparison. Don’t’ just believe what is written on an anonymous web post. I think you will find that Kids 1st has nice facilities, a wonderful director, great programs and fantastic teachers. But do not take my word for it. Check it out yourself.

My daughter went to Kids 1st as an infant and I was very happy with them. Just before her first birthday, we moved and I took my daughter to an in home daycare. after just over a year, I was tired of the in home situation. I returned to Kids 1st and am very happy with the staff and care she is getting here. At almost 3 years old, she is developmentally advanced because of what they are teaching her as well as the manner in which they deal with the children in their care. The teachers are truly concerned about each child and do the best they can to make every child feel comfortable so that they can each excel in education and thrive in life. My child loves going to school and has formed wonderful relationships with all her teachers and the other staff. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone looking for a truly concerned and loving environment for their little one!

Kids 1st is above and beyond standards. Their staff is caring, loving, and encouraging. The infants room is the ideal place for a baby to grow into being a toddler. I was a very nervous mom when I had to put my then 10 week old baby into daycare. This is a very stressful time for a mom (sometimes ridden with guilt). However, Kids 1st quickly erased any fears I had of someone else taking care of my child. They teach him so much, all the while loving him. I moved to the complete opposite side of town and continue taking my son here because I cannot imagine him being anywhere else when he is not with me. Also, the directors here are the most caring, understanding, and supportive people you will ever meet.

They should be shut down. Had my baby there for only two months before someone who worked within the facility privately messaged me to let me know what really goes on there. I exclusively breast feed my son and they were giving him formula behind my back and lying about it, not documenting it. They occasionally called my child fat, yet said I was starving him and not bringing him enough milk, when my doctor said I am bringing him more then enough and hes eating twice as much as he needs to at daycare. Theyre too lazy to entertain him so they shove a bottle down his throat. That among about 3 other serious issues is why I removed him today and looking for child care elsewhere.

I have to agree with the previous review....my 3 kids went there, and were having some behavior issues...my son was held down and was also "hit" accidently by one of the teachers that was restraining him...it has been 3 years now, and he is still in therapy for it...and on a 504 in school...and all that is on it is to prepare for new teachers and subs....Terrible, terrible school and its a shame because the Church that owns it (meadowbrook) is awesome...and I dont feel that they know how this center is honestly ran.

This is a terrible school. When they want the kids to sleep they pin them down and force them to lay still. They also lock them in the bathroom to make them rest. They traumatize children when they dont do what they want. I feel bad for any child that has to go to this school...I mean prison. They should be shut down.

My daughter has been attending daycare here since she was 6 months old. She has been well taken care of by some pretty amazing teachers. Shes also been taught so much from basic skills to more advanced things for a 3 year old. We have become quite close with most of the staff and love it here!

My son went here Very briefly. Every time I would pick him up no matter what time it was he would be swaddled (extremely tight) in a swing screaming, and crying. I would not suggest anyone trust these people with their children
