My son started at Kiddy Garden shortly after I returned to work from maternity leave. I was nervous and unsure about the thought of daycare. Shortly after he started attending, I realized how blessed I felt to have chosen the perfect care center. Ms. Megan in the infant room is absolutely fabulous and made me feel comfortable being away from my little guy all day. We are now in the toddler room. I was impressed with how Ms. Pat (the owner) knew the exact right time to move him over. It gave my son the push he needed in the areas of milestones he was on the verge of meeting. Ms. Jessica has also been with my son since the infant room; shes awesome and really knows the kids and exactly what they like. The whole center and staff is fabulous and I couldnt be happier with my choice. They are your best advocates and super helpful and I have always trusted their judgment when it comes to any questions Ive had being a first time mommy.

The registration experience here was horrible. We had to pay a large deposit / registration fee for the after school care. After about a week after registration we need to back out and cancel due to an unexpected situation. When I called and spoke to the director to get a refund we were told that all of the fees including the deposit, first week of care, registration, and other fees are NOT refundable. After paying over $350 for after school care, 3 weeks prior to school even starting, I was told that this is their policy and they will not refund any of the money already paid. I would expect to have a little bit more compromise on their part. My conversation with the director was not pleasant and neither was the director herself. In the end, they got to keep the money but at least I found out early how rude and unwilling to work with you this place can be.

We love Kiddy Garden! Our children are 2 and 5. Both started in the Infant room, which was a huge help for us as first time parents, guiding us along the way. We knew when we walked through that this was the place. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and has continued to be so throughout the years. The staff is consistent; it’s nice to see the same faces year after year. The center is very clean. Our oldest will be heading to kindergarten and it’s so reassuring that she is more than ready with all that she is learning in their pre-school program. Both children are thriving socially and academically. We couldn’t be more pleased!

I was looking at different daycares for my infant daughter. Pat gave us a tour of the facility and its very outdated. My coworker took her child here and she had the same feelings as I was getting based off of Pats attitude during the tour. Seemed very snippity, ticked off, annoyed, distracted and rude. So in comparison to another daycare in the area, I chose another one based on her attitude. I honestly wouldnt even trust this place to watch my dog.

My 2 year old has been going here for 3 months now and we love it! I thought our last daycare was great, but it was just okay compared to this one. The facility is very nice, clean and bright with all the windows. The teachers are all so caring, the owner really knows how to hire the right people. If you are looking for a daycare in the Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Wauconda area - I toured them all and none compared to this one.
