I wanted to share my yelp review on google: "I found this spot 3-4 years ago when I worked in Carol Stream and lived in Schiller Park. I needed to find a barber, and boy did I ever find one. I am so glad I stumbled across this barber shop as Marcus and company (Joe and Pete at the time) really know mens haircuts and make you feel right at home. These guys are true gentlemen that have experience well beyond your average barber. I recently moved to Algonquin and I have been settling for the supercuts and greatclips....it drove me nuts! I then found a barber in Algonquin that did a decent job but never wowed me. I finally told myself that I will go back to Marcus in Lombard (which is 45mins away from Algonquin) and see if it would be worth the drive. Let me tell you, it was WELL worth the drive and I plan on going out of my way to these guys every time I am due for a haircut! And for the people complaining about the price in the reviews truly must not understand how talented and good these gentlemen are. They are the BEST that I have ever come across, hands down! If you want the best haircut or shave, do yourself a favor, dont cheap out and instead, treat yourself to not only the best haircut you will ever get but and a classic environment of a barbershop thatll put some hair on your chest! Keep up the great work Marcus and crew!"

i am a former marine so i still like to keep my hair short and cut all the time. i get a hair cut about once a week. the place is great. looks great and the owner is very good at what he does. he will make sure you get the barber shop feeling like back in the day. with that said comes a $20 hair cut. im sorry but my hair takes about 5min to cut and a few swipes with a shaver is all and no way worth the money. i am not saying the barbers are no good. they are true professionals. just for me there is no way to justify 20 a hair cut. i am not paying for the show. maybe if you only get a hair cut once a month then yes this could be the place for you. there is another barber shop a few blocks away with same feel and look for almost 10 bucks cheaper. good luck esquire hope all works out for you

If you cant stand the salon, but dont want to go to super cuts either this is the place to go. Marcus, Pete and Joe all give excellent haircuts, theyre all fun to talk with and they are a large part of what makes this place so great. Their current price for a haircut is $19, which for some is a little pricey. However, I think you very much get your moneys worth with these guys. I actually found Esquire by chance many years ago when they were still on the south side of the street. Its actually out of my way to get my hair cut by these guys, but again its worth the extra effort to get your hair cut my guys who actually get it and are in touch with the world. Highly recommended!!! Thanks to Marcus and the guys for taking such great care of me for so long!!!

Got a great haircut at a reasonable price, and the guys who work there were fun. Its hard for a guy to find a decent barber shop these days (most salons cater to women and arent as good with mens hair; and those chain places with new beauty school graduates...well, you get what you pay for). My only criticism is that they dont take credit card. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend.

Great barbershop! They always play great music. The shop is clean, and everyone of the barbers is great: you cant go wrong here no matter who cuts your hair. They also have a great environment inside the shop. And Marcus? Hes the man. Hes a one in a million guy. Lombard is lucky to have this shop.

I Walked in, looks great, but at $22 Dollars for a ten minute (normally less haircut), no thanks I will go to a different Barbershop that does not have to pay for its location at $14 and give them a 6 dollar tip. :) Just means I have to do it after work instead of during lunch time Sorry no sale

Fun Place, Great Haircuts. As others mentioned, its not cheap but they do a good job and Ive had my hair messed up one too many times but the floor sweeper at greatclips that takes over when they get busy. This place is worth the cost.

The barbers here are great! They definitely know what theyre doing. My hair cut was just the way I asked and shop atmosphere is relaxed with good conversation. I have now found my favorite barbershop.
