Came out of it today. If youre trying to start your career in an office setting, dont bother. An easy hour of applying and "skills" evalution (a sixth grader could do it) only to be marred by "our clients are looking for 6 months experience, but we have warehouse jobs because of your background" If I wanted to get that rush of disappointment I would continue applying online at a much faster place. I worked warehouse temp because i need the flexibility of schedule and wanted to graduate on time. I learned my lesson- continue on with school. I did it! Now I feel insulted by one Marie Riewer. She didnt even bother to take into account the degree. I wouldnt mind clerical work because " we all start somewhere" but to be outright told an agency that they wont step up for even a basic job? One seeks an agency precisely because they cannot market themselves. They didnt even bother to ask about Excel or Word ( which I was told by their receptionist over the phone, and which I have academic experience). They want the easy money over my work? No way. Adding a human face to rejection? Priceless. PS: theres better temp firms (for warehouse) outthere that wont have a policy of invading your life : background check, credit check, investigative consumer report, previous work employee reports.

I love the people at Express! I went in for an interview last week and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I dont have very much experience in the "general office" or "administrative" field that I am looking for and they were extremely upfront and honest with me on what their clients are needing right now. The brutal honesty and "I dont want to waste you time" was a breath of fresh air. Most temp agencies will just tell you what you want to hear and never call you again or never call you back. The recruiters at Express told me exactly how it was and that was more than enough. They explained to me that their clients need high level office people, not entry level, otherwise they could just throw literally anyone in there!!! And that only the warehouse jobs they have are entry level. They care about me and other people who interview with them and you can tell by their honesty and how difficult it was for them to tell me that. I MUCH rather have that then go to a temp agency and wait for a call that will never come. Now I know what I need to work on to help put myself in the best possible situation moving forward!! Already started working on my software skills to get back into Express in the future. All of these other reviews are Negative Nellys!!!!

Waste of my time! I spent forty-five minutes filling out the application, entering all my information, and searching for jobs. I then found a job Id fit perfectly in, only to find out I wouldnt even be considered for ANY job through them because I do not have a valid drivers license. I could have spent that time applying somewhere that wont shut the door on me before even looking at my qualifications. Id never considering working with them in the future regardless of circumstances. I guess I should have read the other reviews.

This was one of the more beneficial experiences Ive encountered. I was referred by an individual to the owner. The owner, Ed, not only took an interest, he took his time, met with me, understood what I was looking for, and referred me to one of his associates. The associate was first class as well. I was working the next day. I cant recommend this company high enough, the customer service, the commitment and the caring exemplified were far beyond that in which Id experienced in the past.

After a few jobs I realized they lie about temp to hire positions and they lie about the length of them. The reps are all careless and dont care about you. They just run the next man up situation. Very bad place I would never go back and it seems like it is getting worse. I was almost seriously injured by one of there clients and they did nothing at all not even a simple sorry. Very bad place dont let them keep talking you into more terrible situations.

Worst temp agency ever... been with them since DECEMBER they have YET to find a job that works more that one-two day a month. This past week I worked for them and submitted my paperwork ON TIME only to be told that they didnt process it and I wouldnt get paid till next payroll most UNPROFESSIONAL employment agency Ive ever dealt with .

They are very unprofessional when you come to an interview at 10am I was there until 1pm also they enroll you into direct deposit but your first check will be live and you cant cash it anywhere!!!!!!! Because there signatures dont match Anthing if you need your money beware you will have your funds on hold at your bank

I applied for several locations within my current Chicagoland area, and the Milwaukee area. There are two Brookfield office locations, one in WI and the other in IL. There was confusion in regard to correspondences as the agent I was dealing with did not identify which office he was working out of.
