I have naturally very thick curly hair. And since I have moved to Chicago with its hard water I have hated my curls. Then I met Becky. And I want to have her children now. Becky not only gave me an absolutely adorable cut (think Carrie from Sex in the City meets 2011) she also took the time to show me how to blow dry, how to perfect my curl, and it only takes me 15 minutes to style my hair out of the shower (I timed myself). For a busy SAHM to a toddler, time is precious and Becky understood and met all my needs. Is it pricey? Yeah, but you get what you paid for... Did she push products? Not really, their product sells fund the salon, helping it be all that it can be. I needed to use different products more appropriate product and regimen for my hair, Becky supplied this at my asking. I have lived across this Great Country, gone to salons from Savannah, GA to New York City and this salon has surpassed every other one I have ever been to. Absolutely amazing. Curly hair gals- go to Becky.

I got a pedicure and manicure and it was terrible. The girl rushed it and didnt even clip my toes and the paint job was horrible. My nails had bubbles on top and was NOT even. I think the owner should invest in getting a girl who specializes in JUST NAILS. I think the girls that do hair also do nails and it is NOT working. Dont get a pedicure or manicure here. Your better off going to the Vietnamese nail shops!!!!!

Maura did a great job with my Keratin Treatment and I will be returning to see her again for color correction. My daughter visits this salon regularly for Shampoo Blowouts and she really loves this service as well. We highly recommend Amato Hair Design, its a very nice salon with a friendly staff, a wide variety of services and reasonable pricing. Im looking forward to my next visit.

SUPERB!!! From the moment I walked into the salon for the first time, I felt so welcomed and appreciated. Stephanie took the time to consult with me about how I wanted my color, my cut, and how much I was willing to spend. The team really cares about customer satisfaction and I recommend this salon to anyone. I will not go any where else for hair care from now on.

Ive been going to Amatos for about 10 years. Viv is the most talented stylist/owner. Shes a outstanding colorist, always concerned if I am happy with the color. She takes the time to talk to me about how my hair and style is working. I wouldnt trust my hair to anyone but Viv and her crew.

I went to several salons in the area but finally find home. Brooke is a great stylist. She listens, makes good recommendations and shows you how to do your hair once you get home. Its more then I would usually pay, but for once I feel like its worth it.

I wish I could remember the name of the woman who did my manicure and pedicure. She was wonderful. It doesnt seem that she ended up coming to this location from the Tinley Park one.

The girls charge way too much for what you get. I feel tension going in there. Its as if they train them to hance a chip on their shoulder.
