This is right at the junction of west Greenfield avenue and south 73rd street and thus quite easy to spot..there are ample roadside parking spaces on either side of Greenfield avenue. I visited this place on Saturdays..once in the afternoon and once in the morning.. The place is crowded (due to its popularity and affordable pricing) but they have about 15+ slots being serviced simultaneously, hence, doesnt take more than 5-10 minutes for you to get a slot. The waiting area is small and is usually crowded by customers waiting for their turn. I was attended once by an old lady and other time by an old gentleman - both were nice fellows..I was satisfied with my haircut and they service overall was quick. I happily paid 5$ fees and 1-2$ tips that makes it at least 10$ less than what I had to spend on any other usual salon. And think about 6 times a year you get haircut..so thats about 60$ savings..great indeed considering the very less wait time and quick service time.

Usually I have a good experience here. Ive gotten my haircut here at least a few times over the years. My only advice is if you go in knowing how you want your hair cut or styled, stick to that vision. My stylist yesterday suggested a cut similar to what I wanted, and I went with it because I didnt realize from just looking at it how much of a pain it is to put into a pony tail. I told her I need it long enough to put it into a pony tail and she said she can put her hair into a pony tail. So I went with her suggestion. She didnt blow dry my hair after she repeatedly misted it (which I tend to get a blow dry after a haircut) either. Today I put it into a pony and got most of it (about 85 or 90%) in the pony tail. I tried to do the pony tail 3 times before I gave up and put a bunch of bobby pins in the sides to get them up. I will go back to Quick Cuts because of my previous past experiences. Next time I will stick to my vision and go with a different stylist.

Ive been reading some of the reviews. Im sad that some people were not happy. Maybe expectations were a little too high? Now.. for me..I drive from downtown Waukesha for my hair cuts! Ive never been disappointed. Ive always seen Sammy. I only trusted Sammy. One day on a spare of the moment thing, I drove down there and Sam wasnt there!! Omg! There was another woman I was directed to. Let me tell you that I was a nervous wreck!! There was no smile, no hello how are you, just get in the chair and be blanketed with a black cape. She had a military look on her face or more like I was another rock in her shoe she was standing on. I initiated the conversation and told her what I was looking for and slowly but surely the smile broke and my nerves subsided. I left there with a great cut and she did ONLY WHAT I ASKED FOR!! Not like what SHE WANTED!! All and all I am very pleased with the establishment. Its the only place I will ever go!! Thank you!!

My son and I get our haircuts here every month. They have always been nothing but 100% hospitable to both of us. I love that we can be in and out the door in under 15 minutes having both received haircuts by the same stylist. Dont be scared off by a large group of people waiting because the wait is always short. My only complaint would be that because they work so fast the hair starts to pile up on the floor fast and when it is finally swept up it can get broomed right past your feet without concern for personal hygiene. Im a total germaphobe. Having been going there for some time now Ive taken the time to learn that the foreign staff, that was referenced in an earlier review as Russians, are in fact actually Albanian. I have found them to be some of the nicest of the bunch at this salon. I would certainly recommend this place to others as Ive already done so.

I have a mohawk. Not a difficult hairstyle to cut! All the woman had to do was follow the outline I already had and she couldnt even do that. The only reason I stopped in was because I recently broke my wrist and its difficult for me to hold a razor that long to shave my own head. Thats all this woman had to do was shave my freakin head. However, she managed to f*** it all up. Theres about an 1/8 of an in around my mohawk that she missed even after I asked her to fix it. To top it off...its crooked as holy hell! I went back for my money because now I have to spend the day fixing something I should have done myself. A monkey could have done a better job. Do not go here if you dont want to look like you just gave a scissor to a 3 year old to cut your hair!!!

Gotten my hair cut everywhere in town, from down in the hood to the expensive stylists farther from the city. This place offers you just as good as a chance to get a good haircut as anywhere else. I feel this place is equal in quality, but much cheaper. Most people I know who live all over have switched to Quick Cuts. Its nice because you will often bump into people you know here. I usually tip a minimum of $3 because they do such a good job and probably arent making as much as a bigger place for only $5.

This is a basic shop with no thrills or fancy scenery. But quality work. There are experienced people working there who have been in the business for years. They have knowledge of all hair types and have a barber who does specialty services for a good price. This place is diverse and unique. Anyone who comes in no matter what kind of hair they have will be serviced. I think of it as an ala cart salon.

You would think walking up to a haircutting place and seeing a line coming out of the front door and wrapping the corner that it would more than likely stop you from getting the haircut. On the contrary, the owner "Liz" cuts hair like nobody else I know. Word of advice, ask for her because you will not be disappointed but you more than likely will need to wait 15 minutes. Best 15 minute wait.

I see why the hair cuts are 5 dollars... My hair looks nothing like how I wanted it!!! An too top it all off the lady who cut my hair said too me, "when your hair drys it will be shorter" why the hell would you say that dont you think I know that??? Apparently you didnt thats why my hair looks like how it does... Will never go there again in life an will tell everyone not too go there either!!!

Im giving this place a one star, b/c dont expect to get any real good service or haircut from a place that will treat you like a number. if your jobless and need a haircut, then this is the place to go. otherwise theres no style, no nothing at this place. just simply less hair. any additional services are available at prices that are the same in more quality names or the prices here are higher.
