I should have gone to a salon. Do not go here if you are looking to get your hair cut short and completely restyled. I had long hair and came in for a Bob that is longer in the front. I have had this cut many times before and never had it botched like this. The lady cut the sides way way shorter on the right than she did the left. I cant see without my glasses on so I didnt notice it while she was cutting. The hair on top was fine and it actually covered up the uneven sides. But when I went to pin back the front hair because its windy and wanted it out of my face, the left side was longer than my chin and the right side cut way shorter than my chin. I went back in to have it fixed and she argued with me about it. I said that I didnt understand why the sides would be cut so uneven and she said it was to accommodate a side part. The hair on top is what should accommodate a side part, the hair on the sides should be even. After going back and forth about why my hair is uneven, she then asked me if I was licensed. No, I am not. But I know what a crooked, crappy hair cut looks like. I asked for a manager to fix my hair. It is still uneven but not as noticeable. I will never go back. Ill pay the $ for a reputable salon next time.

I just took my three children to Great clips this afternoon. My two girls just had trims by 2 different women there. Their trims were fine - after all, what harm can you do with a trim? My son, however, is a different story. He received the worst haircut he has ever received in his life. Unfortunately, I was paying more attention to what was being done to my girls, rather than my 14 year old boy, so...poor kid - the guy who did his hair just took a clippers and buzz cut him. I think it was the first time the guy held a pair of clippers, let alone cut hair. Then, I think when the guy saw how bad it looked, he just kept cutting and cutting shorter and shorter until finally I saw what he was doing and told him politely that it was enough. Yes, I paid and no I didnt say anything, although I should have spoken up. Actually, I should have asked how much experience he had cutting hair! My fault. And my son starts high school in 2 weeks! I felt so bad for my son that I took him to McDs to get a frozen lemonade! Anyway, I would take my girls there to get a simple straight trim for their long hair, but for my son, Id go elsewhere.

The worst place ever. We recently moved to libertyville and I decided to try out this place. The lady who did my hair...did a hopeless job with it. The damage she did is almost irreparable for at least 2 months. She did not even blow dry after the hair cut...and asked me to go home and do it myself !!! can u believe her. After the haircut, she pulled off the cover of me so carelessly that all the cut hair fell on to my pants and she cared less to even apologize for it. After all this when it was time to pay she stood right at my face demanding for a tip. This is the worst place ever, customer means nothing to them...if u love ur hair even a tiny bit dont ever go here.

I just got a haircut today and it looks like I could have done a better job myself. I wanted a buzz in the side and a trim on top but it looks like and army cut. Honestly I can deal with a haircut that I dont like but what really irritated me was the attitude of the lady who cut my hair. It was ridiculous how she acted, she was flustered and it was like she was yelling at me. I would have walked out of there being fine about a bad/okay haircut, but I felt so uncomfortable and could not believe that they would treat a paying customer that way.

Yeah... Dont waste your time here. If you cant do as I want, dont wait till youre halfway into it to tell me you cant. Not to mention, a coupon from Great Clips is a coupon for Great clips. Not a competitor coupon because its not YOUR location. This place is a joke. Luz, the "hairstylist" is more concerned with turning and burning versus doing whats asked of her. Terrible experience and I will NOT be returning. In fact, Ill now need to go and find another shop to fix her lack of skill. Not to mention, Im still full of shaved hair.

My Mom and myself purposely went to this Great Clips to have Morgan do our hair, she did a great job on both of us, very professional. She listened to each of us on how we wanted our hair done, two totally different styles, and offered her own opinion on what would work and look best for each style. She cut, trimmed, thinned and shaved our styles to our liking. The facility is clean, her station and tools were clean and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Morgan and this location.

I had a haircut at this location and this would be my last time here. The lady there did not care what my needs are and did not bother what I wanted. She was actually yelling at me and what irritated me most was her attitude. It is my courtesy to give them(great clips) a STAR, but I would never recommend any of my friends going here.

My 6 year old was terrified of hair cuts due to a past experience. Laurie was AMAZING!! Not only did she do a great job with her trim, she put her mind at ease and LOVES her hair cut!! She has already told me that we can only go there from now on!! Highly recommend for any style or cut! We Will definitely be back!!

Ive gotten my hair cut here many times, and theyve always done an excellent job. The price is great, and they work fast. The barbers are all very polite. There have been a few times when I wanted my hair shorter than it was cut at first, and they were very kind to trim it a bit shorter for me.

This is the worst place i have ever been. I look like Im going to military.I want to say one word to the lady who did my haircut. Just listen to the people what they are saying. she is so careless to the customers.

Go here all the time for a high and tight simple haircut but always turns out really good. Got my haircut by a cute girl with red hair really friendly and so is the rest of the staff. Never have a issue going here
