I was always an athlete but I could tell that my little 3 year old daughter loved dance. I knew nothing about dance and I felt thrilled when I went into the Christine Rich Studio and Christine Rich herself walked me through every detail of signing us up and explaining the difference between leotards and tights, etc. and just extended me so much patience. She has a knack for children (kids were coming in and giving her hugs) and my usually shy daughter warmed right up to her. There was just a genuine care for both of us and I felt like I was in good hands with Christine. I went in feeling nervous and left feeling like "hey, I can figure this dance thing out." I guess I felt empowered from my first visit. The classes this summer have been a joy and treasure. Its a first rate operation and my daughter asks me every day if its "time to go to dance." I highly recommend this dance studio all the way around.

We absolutely love the Christine Rich Studio! We have been at the studio for 4 years now and I couldnt be more happy about choosing this studio for my childrens dance education. Christine and all of the teachers are amazing when it comes to working with the kids and pushing them to reach their fullest potential! Im amazed at how much my daughter has grown since she first started! My son is also enrolled and is in his second year, it is a thrill to see him get so excited for class and it has helped him in more ways than I can even begin to list. My children have made amazing friends and the older dancers are great role models for all of the younger ones. The other families at the studio are wonderful to be around, we really all come together to help each other and I would definitely consider some of them to be like family. I cant imagine taking my children anywhere else!

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Christine Rich Studio. The facility is equipped with the most current technology for stage shows, although upon walking up to the facility past the tranquil fountains and entering the serenity of the studio one would never know. It is this simplistic approach that makes the facility so beautiful. The staff of the studio is second to none. Each child is made to feel so valued and gifted in his or her talents. Those talents are constantly groomed and nurtured by the staff as if growing a rare delicate plant. The way instruction is implemented and presented the students are instantaneously captivated and leave classes feeling refreshed and confident to conquer any task. The ability to empower the students and parents to be their best is what puts Christine Rich Studio is a category all its own.

I used to work at the Christine Rich Studio in the front office. To say that the experience dancers receive at the studio is superb would be a gross understatement. The facility is stunning with the largest classrooms Ive seen, the teachers are all seasoned in providing excellent dance/fitness instruction, and lastly Christine holds all students, parents, teachers to the highest of standards, which results in a very structured environment. Rest assured that if you enroll your child at CRS, they will be learning much more than dance; they will be learning discipline, self-control, and respect for others. I saw countless students go from being somewhat wild and unruly to poised, mature, and confident young adults. If I had a child, they would be dancing at CRS - period. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

We were blessed with the chance to attend the summer 2017 session at CRS. My 6 year old daughter, who has been dancing since she was 22 months, learned more in these few weeks than anywhere else shed been. She is much more flexible, her technique is better, and her confidence is much higher. Her understanding of the art of dance is far better which has made her love dance that much more. The facility is beautiful and very convenient for busy moms like myself. I had no problem dropping my daughter off and running a few errands knowing my child was in a safe space. What Ms.Christine and her staff has in Savoy, Il is like no other Ive come across in such a small town. My only regret is that we didnt get to stay and continue Reagans training with them.

Ms Rich was the complete opposite of what a parent wants for a child. She was rude to my wife (telling her how to be a good parent), bossy, and not friendly at all to our three year old. Our son would dance all day at home, and wanted to take dance lessons. But Ms Rich was unfriendly, curt, and disrespectful to him and my wife. I had to talk to her at length on the phone to get a refund. I know of three different people who have had very negative experiences here. One of which had her young daughter actually kicked out of three different classes for not being engaging enough in one. This is not what children need or want. And if you want a good laugh, look up Richs book "The Truth About Amazing Kids: Child Whisperer, Parent Liberator." Great.

When my daughter asked me to look for tap lessons for her, I had her enrolled for the summer session 2015. In the very first class, she was upset because she could not follow the other kids. Thus, we made a deal. I made her promise me she would do her best and really be humble to be able to learn. Now, I am proud to say she never gave up and has been working hard for one year already. Her tap lessons at CRS helped me to make her understand that humility, perseverance and hard work are keys to succeed in any dream. THAT is something priceless to me and I cannot thank the teachers from CRS enough. I am really happy that her face glows when she is heading up to her beloved tap lessons.

Christine Rich Studio has been presenting dances at the Athenaeum Theatre in Dance Chicago since 2001. As Founder and Artistic Director of Dance Chicago and President of Athenaeum Theatre Productions, I can say that her offerings have been consistently creative, unique, well executed and technically superb. Her students have always exhibited the highest level of maturity, exhibiting professionalism beyond their years. Most noticeable is their incomparable spirit and pure joy in what they are doing. Christine Rich Studio is a treasure in the field of dance - the Champaign community is very fortunate. - John Schmitz

The best thing I ever did for my kid was enroll her at CRS rather than the popular (but very casual) competitor across town where a friends daughter has studied for several years. My friend thought I would be happier there because we dont really expect our child to become a professional dancer. Following my gut, I selected (and stuck with) CRS instead, for the higher quality instruction and higher expectations. Even if she is NOT headed for a career in it, my child takes such pride in her dance experience. I never regret the decision to provide her with the best support available for what she calls her lifes passion.

My oldest daughter has attended dance classes here since she was 15 months old. We have always been very impressed with the quality of instruction and the professional atmosphere. The staff has high expectations for students as well as parents, which I appreciate. My oldest daughter, now almost 6, has grown so much in her dancing as well as behaviorally from the classes she has taken that we have enrolled her younger sister as well. The best part is to see the pride on their faces when they show off all their hard work at the end-of-year recital (which is always an amazing show).
